Happy Merdeka! (Malaysia's independence day) Since it's a public holiday today - a Sunday - there's no school tomorrow. That's the rule in Malaysia, according to Miss Emel. And also, happy birthday to Abigail! (Her birthday was yesterday.)
I went to watch Wall-E today. It's funny and so cute! But not as cute as Bill Kaulitz. Lol!
Today:
Wahahaha! At exactly 8 PM just now, I posted a "happy birthday" comment to Bill und Tom (no, I did not spell "and" wrong) Kaulitz on tokiohotelchannel, because it's - yes! - their 19th birthdays today! You're probably wondering why I didn't post it earlier, like at midnight or something. It's 'cause of the time difference.
Lol. See, if they're in the U.S. and I post the comment at 12 midnight here in Malaysia, it's only 31st August, 4 PM over there. So if I said happy birthday at 8 AM (Sept 1), it would be midnight (Sept 1) there. Get it?
I'm not sure if the comment even got posted or whatever, but never mind. I'm satisfied. Haha. Bill is soooo cute! He was like like a little kid in a candy store in the video below. And guess what? He hates broccoli, just like me! Well, at least I think that thing he's holding (see video) is broccoli. It sure looks like it.
Isn't that so adorable? He's so hot, I can't believe it. That was Tokio Hotel TV [Episode 41], and the next episode is going to be about Georg sightseeing in San Francisco, in PIER 39!! I went there before with YuWen and the others. It's full of seals sunbathing, and we took pictures with these guys painted in silver paint with fake wires and other mechanical stuff connected to them (I was kind of scared, I had to admit =.='') and dogs dressed up in sunglasses and bows and stuff. Had to pay for it though.
Oh, and there we saw a pigeon with like 2 toes. Or maybe 1 foot. I'm not sure, but I know he was missing some part of his legs (or leg).
Our school is moving O_O. I just found out today from Megan Yeap. Other people from GRC knew it since, like, May, I think. Maybe I knew too but I just forgot, but whatever! I am so outdated. Seriously.
Went to my church cell leader Lydia Ong's house today for our "CG Outing" while this other cell group went to Sunway Lagoon... =.='' About 5 other girls from my church cell group were there too. We watched Hancock (it was quite nice, but not so; it was a bit funny too), drank bubble milk tea, ate cookies, and nothing else. It was raining really heavily outside, and Lydia's sister Stephanie walked me to the car, each of us holding an umbrella.
But I got wet anyway. It was really pouring, and there was a big big puddle of rainwater around the car, so I had no choice but to step into it. The water got into my jelly shoes. The shoes have HOLES (they're supposed to be like that) in them, so all it took was one step and voosh! there was a floodmonsoon in my shoes.
Running through the monsoon,
Beyond the world
To the end of time
Where the rain won't hurt...
I love Tokio Hotel! Bill Kaulitz ♥ ♥ ♥ is sooo adorable. Check out this video of him lip-syncing and dancing to Michael Jackson during his private party in Geneve.
He is SO kawaii! ♥ I better stop gushing about him before you vomit all over your jelly shoes. It wouldn't be pretty. He's so cute la, seriously! He's hot too. And pretty. I feel kinda jealous of him because he can be hot as a guy and pretty as a girl at the SAME TIME. I mean, he's beautiful! Bill is beautiful!!
I went to Country Mart after that because my mom wanted me to buy some stuff. The lady who works there, I don't know what her name is, but she looks about 20-30. Just so you know, her voice is not nasally and annoying. Just thought you should know, because when I tell you "the 20-30 year old lady who works there", you might imagine her having a nasally voice, which is what I usually do, especially if they have Malaysian accents.
Lady: *in Cantonese* Eh girl, you're very tall already ah!
Me: Oh. Haha.
Lady: Yeah. Thin also. You should eat more!
Me:*thinks: EVERYBODY THINKS IT'S SO EASY* Oh, ya, but it's hard.
Lady: If you were a bit fatter it would be nice because you're tall.
Seriously, I don't know how she can say I'm thin, considering what I was wearing just now: a definitely not-tight Club Med T-shirt (haha, I loved Club Med so much I bought the shirt), and white Gap pants that went down to my ankles. I look totally normal in it. Not thin, not fat. I don't really get people sometimes. Here's the picture I took so you guys could decide yourselves. It's kinda weird because I couldn't take it without flash because I couldn't hold it steady just now, so I put my fingers a small distance in front of the flash when I took it.
Hah! See? What'd I tell ya? I look so totally not-fat-not-thin there. I don't know what she's talking about.
P.S. You shouldn't put your fingers right on the flash while taking a picture because it's a bit hot. Just to let you know!
P.P.S. Ugh. All the flowers that used to be in front of the front door of my house are GONE. I don't know what happened to them, but they're all gone and now there are some boring, green, ho-hum, nothing-special plants there in their place. That stinks. It looks so drab and boring now. They were such pretty flowers too, and I'm joining photography [flora] for D.O.E. (Day of Excellence) in school. Darn it.
Went to watch Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D today. It was really good! The backgrounds were really beautiful, all the colors blended together so perfectly, as beautiful as the Aurora! And Josh Hutcherson, who played Sean, is hot too ^^. Aaron and Chun Chieh came along, and Aaron's mom, her maid, and Aaron's cute 3-year-old brother Aries were there too, but they didn't watch the movie because Aries couldn't.
Aries is one big baby. He's nearly Jia Qing's size, and JQ is 5. They say it's because he eats a lot -- he eats everything. Anyway, it was a really awesome movie and I definitely enjoyed it. You guys should watch it, especially the 3D one. The only bad thing about watching it today was that Jia Qing was there, and he was crawling around the floor and laying down on it and napping (or was he?) and crawling near other people's seats.
We went for Japanese food in The Gardens, which is connected to Mid Valley, and went to the bookstore after that. I checked if they had Tokio Hotel's album on the computer in Borders, and they said it was out of stock but could be specially ordered, so I went to one of the staff members and asked, and he said that they can't order CDs actually.
:( That sucks! I also went to another CD shop, but they didn't have it either. "Try Speedy," the guy said, but I just told him that I DID, but they didn't have it either, but thank you anyway. It's so sad. I guess I'll have to order it from the Internet now.
And in The Gardens, I got a phone call from Aunty Sally (from my ballet class, not Tash's mom).
Sally: There's no ballet class today ah! Teacher is sick! Me:*Ballet class...? Omg, ooops! I forgot all about it!* Oh! Okay. Sally: Ya, teacher is sick! I hope you didn't leave for ballet yet! Me: Err, yeah, I didn't leave [for ballet, anyway] yet.
Oh, and here's a video from Youtube, called Rowan Atkinson - The School Master,to entertain you. Rowan Atkinson is the guy who plays Mr. Bean, in case you didn't know. The video description reads, "Very funny bit with Rowan Atkinson as an acerbic schoolmaster taking attendance at a British school for boys." A lot of people think the video is funny, and yes, I think it's quite funny, too, but the problem is I don't really understand what he's talking about. I don't know how he keeps a straight face saying all that.
And here's another funnier one called John Cleese and Rowan Atkinson - Beekeeping. This one is really, really funny! Lol.
MY BROTHERS' NEW PET LEOPARD GECKO (SPARKIE) AND ONE OF THE TWO FIRE BELLY NEWTS (NAMELESS and KUNG FU PANDA)!
They just bought them today from the guy who sold Shi Wei his pet geckos, and since we are Shi Wei's cousins and Shi Wei is a regular customer in that shop, the guy gave Jia He and the others a discount on the gecko and fire belly newts, and the worms were free! The gecko (Sparkie) belongs to JH, and the fire belly newts belong to Jia Wei (nameless) and Jia Qing (Kung Fu Panda; really, he named it THAT), but I only took a picture of Jia Wei's.
Isn't that nice?
Oh, and feast your eyes on this! It's my first-ever Tokio Hotel poster I got from Galaxie magazine (August 1-16 2008 issue) today! Wheeee ~ ! Remember I told you guys that Sarah See brought it to school for me to see and I got so excited? Yeah, now I got it!! Hahaha! I'm so happy!
I went to Mid Valley and The Gardens just now and got that magazine. I also tried looking for Tokio Hotel's album Scream, but the Borders computer said the album was out of stock but could be ordered, but I didn't because I wanted to check out some other places in case they had it. So I went to this other CD shop and Speedy, but they didn't have it.
Ugh. Fine. I'll just have to go to Borders and order it then. =.=''
Oh, and just a reminder, if you know where to get any accurate Tokio Hotel piano scores, please, please, PLEASE tell me, okay??? Please and thank you! XD
I also trimmed my hair at my ahyi Candy's salon. It was RM15, and I also had her use "Callus Gone" or whatever that product is called for my feet, and she cut my fingernails and toenails nicely because I don't know how to cut them properly, and she painted my toenails this pretty mermaid blue, and she painted the white part of my fingernails white so now I have short French nails! She also stuck 2 pop-out pink ribbon stickers on my thumbnails... for free! She's so nice! Haha. She also got me a present: these 2 soft heart-shaped things on sticks. There's shimmering powder in the hearts so when you dab it on your skin, it glitters. At first she thought they were pens. Only found out what they really were today. Lolz.
I got tagged by Sarah See. Ugh, I did that tag before. Maybe I'll do it next time, but I don't feel like doing it right now because for some reason my paragraphs keep sticking together when I publish my posts, or either they have too much space between the paragraphs, so I have to edit them through HTML, which is so mafan, so.
I'm going to go to my Ahyi's (or however you spell it; my mom's 25-year-old sister Candy) shop/salon/whatever later so she can do something to my nails. I don't know what, but my toenails are seriously ugly. I used to like peeling them, so now they look like crap. So are my mom's, although hers are way worse, yellowish and stuff. Drat. Must've gotten them from her.
I'm going to ask her to help me cut my fingernails, too, because they're so uneven and I don't know how to cut them nicely. 4 of them are square and the other 6 of them are rounded. I want them all square. At least they're all the same then. =.=''
I'm boring you with all this lame talk about nails, so here are somepictures instead! ^^
This is a porcelain doll that YuWen's dad bought for her that she gave me. Jiahe thinks it's creepy because it's placed on my desk. He says it stares at him. I guess he shouldn't have watched Chucky the Killer Doll or whatever that's called.
This is a candleholder I got from this really cute shop in Taiwan. But I don't have a candle so I just scrunched up some colorful paper and stuffed it in the flower bud. Lol.
Also something I got from Taiwan! I'm not sure what I'm supposed to put into it since it's quite small. Maybe earrings, but I don't put anything inside, so it's kind of useless. But it's pretty. Lol.
I try not to curse. Is saying "shit" cursing, though? Because sometimes I secretly say that to myself. :X Sorry.

12. Do you prefer regular or chocolate milk?
Regular.

24. Are you currently wanting any piercings or tattoos?
Oh, sureeee ~ I'm thinking about getting maybe a lip and eyebrow piercing, and a tattoo on my lower back and neck, because I think it's very pleasant to be poked over and over again by needles to create a pretty pattern on my skin that can only be removed by laser.

41. Who was the last person to make you cry?
Erm. The last time I cried was when I listened to too many emo songs and my brothers were arguing and it was so noisy and made me more emo, so I went into my room and screamed and cried a bit. I still listen to emo songs now, but they don't make me cry anymore. Maybe I was just in a bad mood.
42. How's the survey?
It's not very fun... but I don't really mind doing it.
... Who just turned 12 years old yesterday! I'm sorry, I got a reminder yesterday that she was turning 12 on August the 19th, but I didn't know that it was August 19 already. You remember, I stuck to doing only one thing (playing Spring Nicht on the piano) the whole day on Sunday, right? So when Tuesday came and I got an SMS from Yu Wen, who asked me if I was sleeping over at her house after gymnastics (which I wasn't), I was kind of confused and thought to myself, Isn't it only Monday? Gymnastics is tomorrow.
Then I checked the calendar on my phone and saw the date -- Monday, 17 August 2008. Then I asked Aunty Lori what day it was, and she told me it was Monday.
Me: OMG!!!!!
Yep, that's how lame I am. Maybe I should stop calling myself lame or I might really become that. I don't want to curse myself.
Anyways, now Miss Raquel Ho is the same age as I am! Until November comes, that is, then I'll be 13. A-NY-WAYYYY, thank you, Raquel, for being my friend and making me laugh! Raquel is a very funny person. Hope you had an awesome birthday eating ice cream at Swensen's, and G.B.U. (God bless you)!
Okay, now I'm going to post some pictures of my room, because I've noticed that my blog doesn't have a lot of pictures, so... Yeah. Lolz. Captions below.
Dices I made out of bouncing clay (clay that bounces when it hardens; cool huh? ^^).
A glass flowerpot thing I bought in a market in Taiwan. I took off the top half of it. The flowers inside don't need watering. The guy who sold it claimed the flowers are real, but I'm not sure. But they close up when you water them and open up again when you put them under sunlight. Who cares if they're real or not? They're pretty.
This is my bed. Quite plain, but whatever.
Part of my desk, bookshelf, wardrobe, and shelf. P.S. There is one more row of books behind every row of books on the bookshelf. It's messy.
The rest of my desk and the windows.
My stuffed toys and beanbag.
The inside of my closet.
The bear that my mom's sister Candy gave me, placed beside my bed.
Under my desk.
Some of the stuff on my desk.
Me dressed up as Tinkerbell for Halloween when I was younger. Lol.
The archway beside the bear and shelf, leading to the Other Closet and the door to my bathroom.
The purple Swarovski star chandelier beyond the archway!
The Other Closet. Inside are some dresses, a cape, bags, boxes, and some other junk.
Well. There you have it. My room - REVEALED. Gotta go to bed now. My mom came down (she looked tired) just now and told me she had been waiting for me upstairs for so long and blah, blah, blah. So I told her that I DID go upstairs, and that it was locked so I came back down, and then she went over to my computer and started doing something to it. She's transferring old recorded videos of us and whatever into it or something, and she's so worried people accidentally do something to it, she actually locks the study room door. Geez.
Geeeeeeeeeez ~ =.='' My mom locked her bedroom door already, so I can't go upstairs and sleep now. (In case you didn't know, I usually sleep in my parents' room.) She did give me a warning just now: "If you don't come up in 10 minutes, I will lock the door!" ... Which I did not heed because I was too busy looking for a new blogskin.
So here I am! In the study room. Using the laptop. At 12:45 in the morning. Hahaha. Looks like I'll be sleeping in my own bedroom... Hope there are no mosquitoes, PLEASE. I hate mosquitoes, and there are so many of them here.
I went for High School Musical: The Ice Tour, which started at about 8-something PM in this stadium thing. It was like HSM 1 and 2 together, with an intermission in between. At first we thought, when there was intermission, that the thing had ended already, and we were like, "O_O What?!" But then this voice said from the speakers that they were having a short break and stuff. My brothers thought it was boring, and they wanted to watch Naruto on TV, so they went home earlier, after the intermission, which was totally wasting money since the tickets cost like over RM100 after a 20% discount. The original price was RM188, I think, but my mom's friend knows someone there or something.
It was nice. The second part was better than the first, and they ice-skate so gracefully! I remember when I went for Emily's ice-skating party a few years ago. I feel on my butt twice and sprained the same wrist -- my left wrist -- on both occassions. It hurt. I'm so useless at ice-skating. Rachel and her mom, Aunty Denise (mom's friend) and her children and her children's cousin went with us. Rachel even brought binoculars. Lolz. Just so you know, our seats were around the front half.
Hmm. Okay, so I better do a tag before I lose interest or forget:

SHOOT!!!! D= Internet Explorer had an error AGAIN just now, so I had no time to save the blog post I wrote just now! Darn you, IE! So faulty! Ugh. I guess I'll just have to try and remember what I wrote just now...
I recently saw some pictures of the Kaulitz twins on vacation in Maldives last Christmas, and they smoke. =.='' They were holding glasses of orange cocktails and smoking in 2 or 3 of the pics... Well, they're still sexy anyway. ^^ But in the pictures, I noticed that Bill kept looking around suspiciously. Maybe he was searching for photographers...? But I think the Kaulitzes launched an operation to get rid of the photos of them on vacation on the Internet, so I didn't get to see them in total relaxation mode. Oh well. At least there were some left.
I searched for the piano sheet music for 1000 Meere - Tokio Hotel for like, EONS, but all I managed to find was one by some person named Viola on tapartoche.com who played it by ear and transcribed it, but it was half a key higher than the original song, so I rejected it. And I couldn't get it from mk13Rain, who played 1000 Meere/1000 Oceans and Monsoonand etc. so beautifully on the piano -- all by ear.
But I found a Spring Nicht ("Don't Jump" in English; it's anti-suicidal; also by Tokio Hotel) tutorial on Youtube on Saturday, so I learned that instead. I mean, hey, better than nothing, right? The beginning was easy and sounded good, so I was pleased with myself for finding the video and deciding to try and play it, but when I tried the rest of the song...
IT. WAS. HARD. AND. CONFUSING.
The left-hand notes for the chorus that had to be repeated 3 times kept changing every time the chorus was repeated! Small changes, but frequent. And some of the right-hand notes were slightly different from the song (but still sounded good), only slightly, so they're not so important, but I listened to the song and changed the notes to follow the song anyway. As for the left-hand notes, I just did it my own way after that, not following it exactly. I don't have to follow it exactly, so.
I love Tokio Hotel songs. Most of them are in minor keys and I prefer songs that are in the minor instead of major. and because of that, I got so insane yesterday I scared myself. Here's my schedule for yesterday. It's not exact, because I can't remember it exactly, but it's just so you'll be able to see how maniacal I am.
And that totals to about... MORE THAN 10 HOURS OF SITTING ON FRONT OF THE PIANO!! My pinky -- only my pinky -- hurt for some reason after that, and it made my whole left hand sore. I think I should have stopped or at least taken a long break when it started hurting, but I was too determined. I know, I know. I'm insane. I'm maniacal. I'm a lunatic. I'm embarrassed...
08:30 AM: Wakes up and goes downstairs to start practicing the piano.
10:00 AM: Eats breakfast.
10:30 AM: Goes back to the piano.
12:00 PM: Goes out somewhere to eat lunch.
02:00 PM: Comes back home and continues playing the piano.
07:30 PM: Eats dinner and takes a shower.
08:30 PM: Piano again.
11:30 PM: Reluctantly leaves the piano when my mom nags at me to go to sleep.
If only I could put half -- or even less than half -- of that enthusiasm and energy into my schoolwork. Oh well. I can only dream. Oh, and speaking of schoolwork, you know how my mom reacts when I tell her what I get for my tests?
Me: Hey, Mom! I got 71 [fail] for my H&G [History & Geography] test!
Mom: Mmm. Okay.
Me: Hey, Mom! I got 100 for my LA [Language Arts/English] test!
Mom: Mmm. Okay.
And if she's actually paying attention ( O_O ) to what I'm saying, and if I'm lucky, she might actually even say "good girl" or "good la"! *gasp*
Hmm. I wonder what Saskia would say if I told her Tom Kaulitz smokes. She says she loves Tom Kaulitz.
Omg? I just called her and told her that, and she just gave me a monotonous "Oh okay". I was really surprised at this because I was totally expecting her to be shocked or at least mildly shocked, but she just kept saying "oh okay", "haha", and "okay". What's up with that?
Okay, just got an SMS/text message from Saskia.
Saskia:I acted like a zombie cuz me mum was right next 2 me
Me: Err... Why must you act like a zombie when your mom is beside you?
Saskia: Cuz then she will ask then Ralf will hear her and he will start asking me crapy questions la!
Me: =.='' lol? So are you surprised or were you concealing your surprise?
Saskia: I am suprised ofcourse...
Me: Haha. I was too. I'll show you the pics. They're so hot! I think you'll be glad to hear that tom has more muscle tone than bill.
Saskia: K.
And what am I supposed to reply to "K"? So I'm not going to reply. Lolz. I think I'll stop blogging now. This post is long enough. Oh, and I almost forgot to announce! We're having a one week holiday! Woohoo! Now my mom can't use "You have school tomorrow!" as an excuse for me not to sleep late (P.S. Her definition of "late" is usually 10 PM. =.=").
But she's going to nag me anyway if I sleep "late".
"Late". Riiiiiight...
Rachel is at my house right now, playing Dora the Explorer games. She's so cute. She's playing a game where the character, Swiper the fox ("Swiper, no swiping! Swiper, no swiping!"), is in a volcano, and she was like, "Oh, there are gems in the volcano! They're so pretty! Look at the gems over there! So beautiful!"
OMG. I'm really obsessed over Tokio Hotel, I can't think about anything else really, so I'm not going to post much today. Emily and I want to learn German (I want to learn it because of Tokio Hotel. I know. Call me crazy) and French, and Ms Emel knows a place where they teach that. It's in Jalan Ampang or something.
I really can't think about anything else! It's Bill Kaulitz, Bill Kaulitz, Tokio Hotel all the tiiiime. It actually makes me feel bad, like kinda sad, because they have concerts in the US and Europe and everything, but I don't live in the United States! They're having a concert in San Francisco on August 19, and my cousins live near there!
I. FEEL. SO. HORRIBLY. HELPLESS.
Omgggg ~ !! I don't know what's wrong with me! It wasn't like this with the Jonas Brothers when I used to like them earlier this year. Maybe loving Tokio Hotel isn't healthy for me or something. Lolz. You should see me at home. I'm like a zombie right now. Even Jia He can't make me laugh. He was acting like an idiot as usual just now, and then he turned to me when he noticed I wasn't laughing.
Jia He: Isn't that funny?
Me: *continues typing this*
Jia He: Not even a bit funny?
Me: Hmm. No.
Jia He: Not even a smile?
Me: ...
Jia He: Not even a giggle?
Me: *flashes a smile that looks like a smirk that disappears in one second*
Jia He: Hah!
Oh my gosh. I wish I wasn't so obsessed with themmmm ~ ! Then this wouldn't happen. But Bill is just so PERFECT! He's so hot, and his nose is so straight and perfect, and his hair is really cool, and he's different, and everything.
DID YOU GUYS WATCH THE BEIJING OLYMPICS 2008 LAST NIGHT???? The beginning was kinda boring, with people from different countries just walking around, so I didn't watch that. But after that, it got reeeeeeeeeally nice!! Congratz to them!
And OMG today's church was so funny! It was about BGR (Boy-Girl Relationship) and it was like so funny. Lolz. Tash should have been there. Last week, I asked her if she wanted to come, but then I forgot to ask her again after that, so I went alone. Ahaha! Next week's gonna be about BGR also.
I took some pictures of my room just now for fun, and I was planning on uploading them onto my blog to, you know, let you guys see what my room looks like and how hopelessly cluttered my desk is and stuff, but they're taking so long to upload in Photobucket. I have to upload them there or people'll be able to click on them and save them on my blog... so mafan. Ugh.
Ah well.
^^ Just now right, I went to [the robot] Spleak's (spleak@hotmail.com) at website (http://blogs.spleak.com/spleak) and saw some pictures of this very emo/goth-looking guy and his not-so-emo/goth brother on vacation at the beach, Tom and Bill Kaulitz. They looked kinda interesting, so I went to look them on Google, and they're 18-year-old German twins from the band Tokio Hotel. And they're so hot!
But one of them is my fave, and guess who it is?
...
The emo/goth one (Bill) who wears tons and TONS of eyeliner and has that fanned-out spiky black hair and eyebrow piercing! He's hot. His face is sooooo pretty (yes, pretty), he looks a lot like a girl! Lolz. Is that unexpected or what, for me to think a guy like that is hot? Who would've thought of it?
So see, I went to look up "Tokio Hotel" in www.letssingit.com so I could hear their songs and see how they are, and I loaded "Monsoon - Tokio Hotel) on Youtube and watched the vid and heard the song, and I LOVE THAT SONG! Bill really does look like a girl. Like, really. He looks more like a girl than I do. He's so pretty, I'm jealous jealous jealous! But he's still hot as a guy. Here's the Monsoon music video. I'm sure you know which is Bill (in case you don't, he's the one with the black hair streaked with this lighter color, like a porcupine).
Diamonds Are Not a Girl's Best Friend (Well, Not THIS Girl's, Anyway)
Just to let you know, this post isn't entirely about Serafin.
A guy was supposed to come today to help us with finding out how Serafin died by rewinding the CCTV. One of the cameras in our house is facing the road, so I think we'll probably be able to see which car killed him (if that happened). Just to let you know, so you don't get so grossed out, Serafin was not run over by a car; if a car did it, the bumper or something hit Serafin's head
I wonder how long it took for him to die? I really, really hope he died immediately. It would be so horrible to think that he lay there helplessly for ten minutes or so, wanting to bark at us to come out of the house and help him, but not being able to summon the strength to do it
I can't wait for my mom to get back and tell me how it went. I don't know how I'll feel toward the man (or woman). There's a chance I might be okay about it. There's a big chance I might be angry. There's also a chance I'll feel like killing the person. But it depends, I guess. If the person knew he hit Serafin, and got scared and ran away, I'll feel like throwing him/her into the Marianas Trench along with a bucket of Portuguese Man-O-Wars. I'll feel even more malicious if I know that Serafin had not died immediately, and that we could have brought him to the vet and treated him and given him his life back, if only the driver, whoever it was, had told us about it
I filled Serafin's bowl. I don't know why. Just to act as if he was still alive, I guess, but I'm not sure of my motives. I also sat there on the bench outside the house. We used to tie Serafin's leash to the leg of that bench. So I sat there and started reading sadly, but then this stupid bee came and started buzzing around, so I had to vamoose.
Enough about that! Now we'll move on to another subject, which is what I did yesterday, which is about... JEWELRY!
Lol. I'm serious. Jewelry. Me! Jewelry! Haha! I used to think that the saying "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" was totally untrue, and well -- I still think that. Not my best friend. But jewelry is so pretty! My mom brought me to Starhill yesterday after school, along with my Auntie Moi Moi. Mom wanted to bring me to this thing they were having at a shop called Bottega Veneta. They sell bags there which are $UPER EXPEN$IVE. Like, one was RM8,000. The bags are woven, and in colors like maroon/red, green, purple, and black. Personally, I don't think they're so nice. They're pretty plain, and the colors are kinda boring.
No offence to Bottega Veneta lovers
Mom wanted to bring me there because you could only get in there yesterday by special invitation, and my auntie got invitations (although she has no idea why she got them). It was boring. There were nicely-dressed, prettily made-up people there, and waiters carrying trays of sparkling water (I hate sparkling water. It tastes like gas), lime juice, and some cold yellowish beverage that I think must be beer or wine.
It was so boring. There was a cameraman, as usual. I went to one of these kind of things at another bag shop -- Anya Hindmarch -- before, and it was pretty much the same, except the Anya Hindmarch one was better, even though I didn't look at the bags. The cameraman wanted to take our picture (he went around taking pictures of everybody), and I was VERY reluctant and did not fail to express it, because I look horrible since I got those stinking mosquito bites on my face. It made some people look over at us. But my mom made me have my picture taken. Her and her sister Candy's (part-time model, has her own beauty shop thing) picture came out in a magazine when they went to the Anya Hindmarch thing.
We didn't stay long, thank goodness. We went to a jewelry-and-watch shop called Van Cleef and Arpels, because the jewelry we were staring at from outside were so pretty. Their signature design, things with the four-leaf clover on them, are so cute. They were selling some limited edition butterfly things (only 20 of each design worldwide!), but they weren't so pretty. A nice lady and man brought us into a small room without a door where we could sit as they told us about some of their products.
I flipped through this little booklet and saw a really pretty watch called "Jour/Nuit", which means "Day/Night". The watch had a black hill on it, and the sun and moon were behind it in a dark blue background. The man proceeded to explain to me and my auntie about the watch when he saw me admiring it. The sun and moon rotated on the face according to the time. The sun was made of yellow sapphires (I think), and the blue background was made of aventurine, a rare, sparkly material. It has 309 diamonds around the watch, and it cost about RM240,000.

...
...
OMG.
Two hundred and forty thousand ringgit!
I WANTED THAT WATCH! I wanted to keep it for when I got older, because I'm too clumsy and careless to wear it now. Eeeee! You can buy a house with that money! ... Well, maybe not a bungalow or penthouse. Maybe an apartment or terrace house.
After that, we went to Mouawad when another lady working at Van Cleef and Arpels brought us there to see because it Mouawad was also by Van Cleef and Arpels. And Mouawad has some pretty beautiful jewelry, too! More bright and colorful than VCandA. There's a collection there by the supermodel Heidi Klum, called the Heidi Klum Collection or something. A foreign man working there had a hoarse voice, like he had been shouting or had a sore throat or something. His name was Antoine (an-twahn).
He brought us into a bigger room, with a table and 6 chairs, and asked us what we wanted to drink. My mom wanted tea, so he got this lady to make tea for her, and she gave a little china jug of milk and a small pot of sugar cubes. I ate 2 of the sugar cubes there. Just bit them and let them dissolve like that. They look like styrofoam. Antoine showed us more Mouawad jewelry, all the way up 'til about 8 PM. I really liked the jewelry! They're so cool.
But diamonds are still not my best friend.
They won't even TALK to me. Why won't they talk to me if they're supposed to be my best friends?
We went to eat Thai food downstairs, and my favorite was the jackfruit stuffed with sticky rice and drizzled with coconut milk. That was good. We reached home later than 10 PM at night. I was tired, so I got out of bed today at 7:35AM, left the house at about 8:40AM, and reached school at around 10:15AM.
=.= So long. There was a jam, though. I have no idea how long it lasted, because I was reading in the car.
Oh, and by the way, Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer is out in bookstores! Yay! Emily bought the book already. Hah. I remember when I used to be crazy about Edward Cullen. And Kaname Kuran. And Zero Kiryu. And Joe Jonas and Daniel Radcliffe and Peter Pan and Jeremy Sumpter...
Ah! I think I'm going to end this post now. Nice weather we're having right now. It's raining a little outside, and the doors in the balcony are open, so my house is nice and cool. When you're Malaysian, you like rainy weather. Then it's not so hot anymore, but only temporarily. I like the rain!
