Back!
Hi everyone! I am finally back from Pangkor Island, but most of you don't know because I only told Saskia in advance. Since I was too lazy to write in my diary about it, I'm going to just type it right here.Day One:We left the house at about 5:20 A.M. and drove to this place where a bus was waiting for us. The bus was packed with a group of people from China who are my Dad's friends, I think. The bus wasn't bad, actually. It was actually a little-bit-better-than-okay bus, except for the fact that I was really cold in there, but it wasn't that cold actually. And I had no jacket. I was like suffering there as I [tried to] sleep. We stayed in the bus for about 3 hours or so. I dunno. I didn't really notice. I listened to my iPod (I finally learned how to download songs into it! Thanks Shi Hao!) and read A Series of Unfortunate Events: Book the Fifth: The Austere Academy. So nice! I love S.U.E. (A Series of Unfortunate Events) Sooooo nice. They have 13 books and I have it all. Except book 2. I lost book 2, unfortunately. That reminds me, I also lost my Nintendo DS, and I am so dead. How lame am I????Then we took a ferry to the island. To our delight, we got a suite, because according to my Dad, if the whole family goes, they'll (the people in charge of the tour thing) give you a suite. It's double-storey! And there are 3 TVS!! Yay! Then we went to the "living room" and looked out the window. And guess what we saw?MONKEYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ON THE BALCONY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We started teasing the monkeys and stuff, and luring them to the window by grabbing a pack of biscuits and shaking it around behind the window. There was even one Momma Monkey with a baby monkey. So cute. But there we learned that some monkeys are evil. We saw one monkey on the roof with a bag of sweets. Obviously it stole them. When we went upstairs, I heard my Dad shouting and shooing something away, so I ran down the stairs. My Dad was shooing away a monkey! The monkey had our pack of Cloud 9 wafers but it dropped it and ran away. My Dad said it was so fierce and Jia He started getting scared of monkeys.Okay, enough about monkeys. So we went to the beach, where we saw some small crabs and a lot of clams. I also saw a fish while I was in the ocean! It was right in front of me, and was about the size of my palm. It was yellowish and black, and I shrieked, "Fish! Fish!" when I saw it. Then I looked at the shore and shouted, "Daddy! There's a fish! A FISH!" When I saw the fish heading towards me, I screamed and quickly swam away from it.Hey, it could have been poisonous. Jia He got bitten by something. Maybe a crab.Day Two:No monkeys on the balcony anymore. Hmm... Wonder why? Anyway, we went snorkeling. We drove off in a boat thing to a nearby island and the guy gave us lifejackers, goggles that cover your nose, and that tube thing you put in your mouth in order to breathe. There were so many fish! I took some bread, held it underwater, and stuck my head underwater. All the fish started swarming toward me and it was SOOOOOO cool!My brother, Jia He, found a sea cucumber! It was black and slimy and had a lot of goosebumps. When my Dad held it, it started spurting out water from one of its ends. Maybe it was peeing? My Mom gave it to me to hold, but when I held it, it was so slimy I screamed and dropped it. But my Dad caught it back. Then we let it go.Then we went swimming and went to the beach again, where I stepped on something and found 2 yellow and black spines in my heel. I took them out carefully and ran back to shore. My heel started bleeding. Ew. Thank God it's not poisonous. Then I got pretty sleepy and went back to the suite and watched TV and slept while my brothers went back to the beach again. They have Disney Channel, StarWorld, and Discovery Channel! Cool huh? So glad.Day Three:
Ok I'm really lazy to post now so maybe I'll continue tomorrow, okay?
