SURPRISE!! (I'm in London right now)
SURPRISE!!!!!For your information, I did NOT bring a laptop, so I'm using the hotel in London's computer right now. It's not free though. 1 pound for one hour... that's like RM7 in our money!! SHEESH. The stuff in Paris and London are soooooo unecessarily expensive. I bought a crepe in Paris for like, RM15 (3 Euro). And I also bought this small little notebook at the Palace (at Versailles, I think) for like RM12.50. Ahhh! People from Paris and London will be very rich if they come to Malaysia.Hmmm I have 24 minutes left... Anyway, Paris wasn't really what I expected, but it was quite nice. While we were riding through the suburbs in the bus, we saw so much graffiti and I even saw "**** le rats" sprayed somewhere!!! It was so cold and I cannot imagine even swimming in Paris. We wwent on this half-day city tour on the first day, and the second, we just went shopping. It was super-boring, but one good thing came out of it: I discovered a new chocolate that is very nice!!But in the end, my Mom bought this Louis Vuitton bag, which is SO nice, and Laura's mom bought a bag, too. It's quite troublesome to wear coats or thick jackets, because it feels nice when you're out in the freezing cold air, but once you get into restaurants or shops or whatever, it gets really warm and it's absolute torture sometimes, even if you take off your coat, sometimes. It's because of the long johns. We went to the Eiffel Tower today and took some pictures. I saw a group of adorable, fat little brown birds perching on a fence around a Christmas tree (a real one, not an artificial one), and I wanted to take a pic of that instead, because of the supreme adorableness of the cute little birds, but my Mom had the camera, so never mind. But sadly, it was so upsetting when we didn't get to climb the Eiffel Tower, because there wasn't enough time.We took the train to London today, and it lasted for more than 2 hours. I entertained myself in the train by playing my NDS and reading my new book: The Shadow World (book 2 of the Eidolon Chronicles; book 1 was sold out - AW). Then we came to the hotel in London, and we were disappointed to find that our room was SO small, and the bed was springy, so I'll have to keep in mind not to jump on it for fear the springs may pop out and send me rocketing through the ceiling. Laura, Carmen, and Sean's room was bigger, fortunately for them.By the way, we have nicknames now (for fun): I am Alyson, JiaHe is John, JiaWei is Michael, Laura is Annie, Carmen is Lilly, and Sean is Max. And when we reached the hotel, we had a contest thing: we couldn't say any word with the letter S in it (thanks to Zoe 101), and I was saying something like, "And no one can... utter my name becoz it got the letter in it." It lasted for a while only, though.Well, that's it for now. Bye!P.S. Hopefully you all will be online bcoz I might sign in to MSN tomorrow. There's a 7-hour time difference though. Or 8. I dunno. And I called my Dad "fa-ther" 2 times today. It's fun calling them that in a British accent. LOL.
