The Peter Pan Musical!! ♥
OMG!! I absolutely ♥ed the Peter Pan musical yesterday, which is not a big surprise since I love almost everything that's Peter Pan!! Since we were HSBC Premier or Platinum members or whatever, they gave us 4 free tickets to watch yesterday's show!! And when we got to our seats, there were these HSBC bags with a box (it's a sort of jewelry box to put your watches in), a programme (they were selling it for RM30 outside), and an envelope with some coupons in it. And also, when we "resgistered" or something, they gave us free wands! I got a silver star wand with fake colorful crystals in the middle, and it lights up when you press the button at the back of it!! And I can't believe how they can memorize so many lines and songs! Especially Peter (or Ryutaro). He has the most lines. And he FLEW around so much! And when Wendy and John and Michael Darling started flying, I could start crying (but of course I didn't), because I have always, ALWAYS wanted to fly. Ever since I was little. And in one part, I was so jealous of Grace Kam, because she was one of the fairies. And in this part where the pirates and the Lost Boys (and Girls) were arguing, some fairies flew in, and Grace (Cassini) was the one in the middle of the stage, just floating there on the air. Then Hook was like, "I don't believe in fairies!" And Grace fell and kind of died. I couldn't recognize her, but I thought that was her because she told me she was going to die and a lost boy was going to sort of "care" for her, and I was right. And one part, Captain Hook was singing and dancing at the same time, and he was dancing like a robot! And I loved the finale! Peter suddenly flew off the stage and flew above the audience, glitter flying off his hands! But he was in the middle of the audience only, sadly. And suddenly all the bubbles came out! I was soooo happy. And the dancing in the musical seemed kind of hip-hop, but some of the songs were in these made-up languages, which is fine by me! Sometimes shows that are fictional or really magical make up songs with made-up languages and words that make no sense. After that, outside on the foyer, someone called, "Jiayu!" and waved at me from the staircase. I waved back, and went up the stairs. It was Joyce! We started chatting and talking and taking pictures and stuff. And then Grace came out, in her normal clothes, but she was still in her makeup! It was so nice! We all started chatting and taking MORE pictures. And I lined up like, 3 times, to take pictures with Ryutaro, Captain Hook, and First Twin and Second Twin (no, really, that's what they're called in the story - First Twin and Second Twin). First to take a picture. Second, to get their autographs with Joyce but I didn't have a pen so we took another picture. Third, to get their autographs. The twins are so cute with their messed up hair and lost boy look! Their names are James and Paul Burlage. Ryutaro looks a little like a girl in all that makeup, but he's okay. And I also found out something about Ryutaro: he's really skinny. But in his "nude costume" (that's what he calls it) he looks a little like he has a six-pack or something. Well, not really, but it's flat. Cool huh? And he's 14, and started dancing to the sound of music on the street when he was 15 months old!! My cousin Sarah is 12 months old, and she can't even walk yet. And he started learning hip hop and breakdance when he was 7. And he's modelled for Tommy Hilfiger and Nike. And this is his 100th performance since his stage debut as well as his 50th performance as Peter Pan in Malaysia! He is so lucky. And guess what? James and Paul Burlage are throwing a cast party at Planet Hollywood and Grace is going!! I am sooooo jealous!! Grace is sooo lucky!!
