GRC Youth Rally 2007
YAY!!! THE YOUTH RALLY LAST NIGHT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! Me, Paullyn, Raquel, Sarah S, Emily, Tommy, Grace K, Bee Bee and etc. were ushers. Paul Mae and some other people were in the registration thing. I didn't go to school on Friday (Paullyn, Kelvin, Paul Mae, Tommy, and Isaac I think also didn't go so don't blame me; it was OPTIONAL). I went to PL's house at about 12:45 so I could follow them to the Youth Rally. We played with play-dough and made a ten-layer cake out of it and put one boy and one girl on top of it, and a heart shape behind them, for *ahem ahem* and *ahem ahem*'s wedding. Me and PM wanted to tell *them* but Paullyn said nooooo... (They try to make me go to rehab, but I say no, no, nooo!) Then we went online and me and Paullyn were chatting w/Tommy thru PL's account. We made her personal msg "Me and Jiayu rock!" I know, so perasaan right? I don't care! Tommy rudely said, "No you don't." So I typed, "We rock, you pebble!" LOL! Paullyn said in her blog that Tommy sent her an SMS (oooh-la-la!) that said, "Hey are you going online? Tell Jiayu that I'm not a pebble." lol. yes you are!So anyway, we ate dinner at GRC - fried rice or noodles. There were no spoons/forks at first so we broke off pieces of our plates to use as utensils. The spoons came later. To tell the truth, when I saw so little people coming at 7pm, I was kind of ... how to say... I just felt weird and kept saying, "So little people! So little people!" But I had fun play-practicing Raquel and Sarah S, using British and Australian accents and stuff like that. When Dawn passed by we shook her hand and said, "Hi, how are you? Let me show you to your seat!" Then we harshly dragged her to a seat and pushed her down. We did it to Brenda (I think) and Joyce also. Yay! But later more people came, and the Youth Rally was a success! I really loved the Darren&Justin Act, it was so funny! Especially the matrix part where they pretended to punch each other and stuff. I wish I had a video. And the dance by USJ and the skit by Klang were really good too. PL and I kept talking over that little USJ boy in the dance. He was so cuteeee~!!Then there was worship and a ... what do you call it? ... speech or preaching or something by David Poh from Klang about John Harper, who was on the Titanic, and gave his life to save the unsaved people just before they could die, when the ship sank. Everyone knows Leonardo diCaprio, but only a few know John Harper. TOO BAD TASH AND JIAHE AND JIAWEI THEY ALL COULDN'T COME!! IT WAS SO GOOD DRAT. I kept forgetting to invite Yuwen and her brothers.Even though I came home late, I still had to go to Chinese tuition this morning, which starts at 9pm, but I have to follow my brothers when they go to their English class, so I had to wake at about 7:30/8am. Oh well. THE YOUTH RALLY WAS SO FUN!!!
