Thursday - 19 July
Thursday - 19 July - 12 pmI'm on the plane now, sitting on the aisle seat and on the way 2 HK. I just watched Bridge to Terabithia (B2T), and Sarah S was right: It IS a boring movie. But the part where Leslie drowned and died was real sad. HAH! I know what's you're thinking: me? CRY? Tears actually rolled down my cheeks! Unbelievable! Why don't I cry like that in chapel when everyone else does? And you know those bracelets we can make outta string? The ones w/the complicated patterns? Yeah, I guess I'm not such an Expert in Color Combination after all. The 3 green strings do NOT go together. They look like those diamond Hari Raya thingies. UGH.B2T is SO boring! But I have to admit, Josh Hutcherson is pretty cute. But of course, I still like Daniel Radcliffe. I can't believe Saskia likes Rupert Grint (Ron)!!We had 2 wake up at like 6am today. But I woke up at 6:30, and then woke Justine up. Then I went upstairs to wake Mom. Dad was already awake.Plane food stinks.OMG, I can't wait 2 do some serious Disney shopping in HK> Hope they have the Pirates hats. Note 2 self: Get presents for some friends. God, please, Rachel and Sarah See, PLEASE rmb 2 tell ur dad abt helping me get the last book of Harry Potter, the Deathly Hallows! I WILL pay you back! I can't wait. And remind Kelvin to get me the lollipop. =p!! lol.Sad, my Mom wouldn't let me bring my lousy laptop. I could at least type stories or journal in it. Eekz, hope Dad'll let me get the MacBook with PhotoBooth in it when I grow up/when my lappy spoils.Well, I'll update more later... Gotta go draw, Diary! B2T got me in a mood 4 drawing.2:06pmWe are in a bus and will stay here for 45 min., til we reach the Peninsula Hotel. At least then I'd have time to write. And btw, there's been a mistake. 1st, Mom said we'd be here from tthe 16th - 22nd. But then she said 19th, we go. NOW it's actually from the 19th to the 24th. We go back on the 24th of July. So anyway, back at KLIA, the metal on my belt made the detector beep, and one lady had to check me for metal things! If you get what I mean. PL, if ur reading this, it's like the time we saw the airport person "check" that famous black kickboxer guy. But she didn't pull up my shirt like the lady did to the kickboxer. Of course not. But it was ticklish!Just now we had some sorta arguement and when I said stg, Mom said I was ding-zui-ing. Ding-zui means talk back. I wasn't talking back, I was just saying. Adults ALWAYS say you talk back bcoz they hate it when you're right. But now it's OK.Anyway, we're going 2 Disneyland on July 22 and 23. We are crossing the Qing Ma Da Qiang, a bridge:Qing = GreenMa = HorseDa = BigQiang = Bridge???????????Like, whatever! I wish I brought my laptop here so I can blog instead. I wonder if my friends commented stg new on the Cbox? I wanna fill it up bcoz I got a new Cbox.I don't like seeing all the old, dirty building in HK. It's gross. Btw, I finished a whole tube of mentos in less than 15 or 10 min. on the plane. Then I ate some strawberry gummies. If you're gonna tell me it's bad, listen 2 this: you can eat anything you want... but it doesn't mean you should. Eek! My handwriting is so messy.I want more candy. Didn't really read on the plane. I'm tired...10 pmLike, OMG! The Peninsula (hotel) is the most beautiful I've eva been 2! They have branded stores like Tiffany and Co. and others in it. Mom sez the HK stars like 2 come here for high tea. The Peninsula is famous 4 that, I think. And the room is on the 24th floor. Rooms 1403 & 1404. 2 bad the view is overlooking all the horrible factories and stuff. The Malaysian ppl said that we could get a room with a view overlooking the sea, but when we reached here, NOOO... All of 'em were booked and we had to get a standard room, but thank God they upgraded it!Here's some of the free stuff they had in the room:1. The Peninsula waiter teddy bears (miniature)2. Chocolates (white, dark, milk)3. Luna color pencils (12 pencils)4. Fruit in a basketAnd the bathrooms are also real nice, w/a bathtub beside a giant mirror, a shower stall, a toilet in a seperate toom like it was a shower stall, two normal mirrors, two sinks, two microscopic facial mirrors. And guesswhat? They have Cartoon Network on the TV! I'm watching Camp Lazlo and writing at the same time. Then just now we went to this Shanghai Restaurant which wasn't in Shanghai, w/Jacqueline, her parents, her godma, Eileen, and Eileen's husband. Eileen was pregnant w/a 7.5 month girl! When Si Chim (Jac's mum) asked JH 2 eat the xiao long bao, he said, "I rather eat my backside." LOL!!Then we went to Aji Ichiban, that Japanese candy/junk food store. Then Mom, Dad, JW, JH, JQ, and I went to the harbor or stg so we could see the other side of HK across the lake/sea/wtv. And there was this building with sloping walls with rectangular bricks. JH & JW tried to climb up it, so I did too. I put my fingers on the space between the bricks and scaled up it about 2stg or 3 feet high. Not so high, but it was nt ez! JW and JH couldn't. Then Dad asked us not to do it coz later the ppl scold or stg. Then Jw grabebd one lady's arm coz he thought she was Mommy. zzzz...And here we are, back in the room. We are only goign yo Disneyland on the 22nd and 23rd.Hmm... tmr I gotta buy white A4 paper... Eileen's husband, Ashley, was supposed to get some, but he 4got. Awh... anyway I gtg now. Byeez...
