14 July 2007 - Saturday

Today after ballet, I didn't go to church because of Celine's 8th birthday party, so we went to Mid Valley to buy her a present. My Mom took me to Gap to buy short pants (but we ended up buying a pair of shoes and some tops too), and when we looked at the clock, it was like, 4:21pm. The party started at 4! I was like, OMG, so we bought a present for her at Gap: two tops, size 6-7. Hope she'll fit. No offence, but she's small size for her age, but so is Jia Wei. And yesterday I discovered what some nice words can do to an irritating, loud, noisy, crazy crybaby (no offence JW!). He was crying and bawling and screaming about something and I was unusually nice and stuff, because I decided to see what being nice will do, coz normally I would barge into the room and start yelling for him to be quiet or just leave him alone. And being nice was the right thing, because he quieted down and started doing his homework, which is liked a HUGE miracle, bcoz it's like NOTHING can calm JW when he turns on the tears. So if any of you have annoying, crybabyish little siblings, try that!

But enough about Jiawei, and more about my day. After we bought her the present, we went to Celine's house, but we sorta got lost and Beenut called and I called her back and my Mom spoke to her about finding the way and then spoke to Celine's Mom, which was how we finally got to the house. And, thank God they weren't swimming yet. They were like standing in the carpark place for no particular reason. I think they were playing a game which stopped and none of them knew. Whatever! We went to the swimming pool place where Kelvin and Paul Lyn were and started playing with the water guns, and when Celine saw, she lost it and exploded and kind of annoyed me for doing that. But whatever. There were 2 plastic cups with PL and Kelvin's names on them, on the wall thing. A fence or stg. They were on this slanted area of the fence, and I wanted to see how they could stick, so I took PL's cup up. When I tried to make it stick back, it wouldn't. K said I had to pour water in it, so I poured water from his cup to hers, and sure enough it stuck!

But when I told PL, she didn't want to drink from that cup anymore tho. Later we all went swimming. Some of us had to be pushed or pulled into the pool tho, coz they were reluctant to go in. But I wasn't one of them, tho I wore a shirt over my pretty swimsuit, like a lot of ppl did. We played with the water guns and pingpong balls and stuff, and it was really fun. So many ppl got pulled in and got sprayed by the water guns that before long there wasn't really anyone to attack (aka wet). Water gunning is a pretty rough sport. Once I turned round and the water spraying out of the water gun Raquel was using was aimed right at my eye. It was painful and there were a few more 'accidents' with other ppl, too, but we recovered. But Ralf jumped on Saskia's back and she had to get out of the pool coz she was injured. Of course Ralf followed her. I mean, you jump on someone's back on accident and just leave them to fend for themselves? Nope.

Zoe, Emily, Raquel and I signed an imaginary peace treaty (my idea) to not splash each other, but there were still accidents when we forgot or accidentally did it. We were like signing our signatures in the air and I pretended to roll up the treaty and stuff it into my pocket... as if I had one. But anyway, Sarah T asked me if I could pretend to drown. She demonstrated by going under the water and letting her body just float there, face down. I tried it and it was really fun and Abigail saw and was like laughing. I had an idea and told Sarah to pretend to drown and see if Dawn would jump in and try to rescue her, so she did it. Abby told me, "That's a really evil genius idea" or something, which was a compliment. Thanks Abby!

So Sarah pretended to drown, and Abby yelled that Sarah had drowned. Dawn was like, "Sarah!" And she jumped into the pool and tried to rescue Sarah, which was pretty comical, and I thought Dawn was just playing along, but she really believed it! We were like laughing, and I seriously couldn't believe she FELL FOR IT!! Seriously, you'd think that Sarah had really drowned. I mean, if Sarah was drowning and Abby and I were only like 1 foot or less away from her floating self, WE would save her right, and not yell for help like maniacs and do nothing? But Dawn was like concerned la~ But I seriously still can't believe she fell for the gag! It was like so funny. And we kept splashing each other and Dawn yelled that if she kept yelling she would lose her voice.

We had to queue up for the bathroom tho, and Raquel and I were like the last, but it doesn't really matter. And I wound up wearing the new short pants that I just bought that my Mom asked me to wear to the party that I angrily refused. She asked me to wear the billowy white top too but I didn't. At least I wore the shorts right? Raquel LOVES the shorts. The food was real good, especially the mashed potatoes with that sort of sauce. It was so buttery and ahhh... We played w/each other's handphones, and I played with Kelvin's. I made him miscall me so I got his handphone number (not that I like him or anything; as a friend only larh). Later I kept miscalling HIM and he didn't know who it was until the third time, when me and Zoe were like laughing and smothering our laughter and told him that I was calling. For some reason it was really funny.

We played with the candles too. I kept passing my finger thru the flame and getting more fire from the others' candles. It was kind of easy tho, even tho the wax dripped when I tilted the candle to get at the flame, and I had to drop the candle into the holder. But it was fun! And we put the plastic fork over it and made it curl. Later Kelvin went stupid and crazy and set fire to the tissue which he quickly extinguished but I pinched him hard anyway and him arm was like red. You're welcome. HAHAHAHA. And this Paul Lyn kept teasing me abt on MSN last night, she kept saying, "I love you ah Jia Yu." As in a friend-friend love, but later I got what she meant. "When I say that I am copying SOMEBODY," she said. Lol. I better explain. Last night Tash, Paul Lyn, me, Zoe T, Naomi, and Kelvin were on the same chat window, altho Tash and Naomi were pretty idle.

I was teasing and bullying them by changing my personal msg to something like, "I like him even though I only talk to him sometimes. Wanna know who that is? I love him even though sometimes he is such a pain." And they were going mad guessing who the one I loved was. So I finally gave in and said, "The one I love... is.... MY DOG!!" It totally crushed them and took them by surprise. They didn't see THAT one coming. It's true that I love my dog(s) what. But then K said, "I love you ah Jia Yu". But I wasn't like SHOCKED or anything, altho Zoe was. I wasn't shocked because I knew he was like kidding coz he said that to Grace G or Chanelle before, so I didn't take it seriously. Then PL on MSN said, "I love you too ah Jia Yu! As in friend love." LOLZ. And K said, "Ya friend love" or something. So she was like reminding me about today at the party. Blah blah blah... Dun take it too seriously.

And Raquel was suddenly very interested in relighting the candles that we extinguished, and we made her get fed up by blowing the candles out once she relighted them. But whatever. Good news = Justine and Jac are coming back tomorrow! Yay!

And by the way, I posted one of my many uncompleted stories on a new blog I made, but I made it private so no one else 'cept me could read it. I am going to make it private as soon as I learn how to copyright the page, which means no one will be able to copy it, like Josh Teo's blog. So help me, Grace Goh, and ask him then tell me because he won't listen to me coz he is not my friend. GRACE GOH HELP ME AH!!! And today at the party someone offended me by judging again, but not Raquel. Augh. Wasn't Friday's chapel about judging and condemning...?
