24 June 2007 - Sunday

Today after SS, I went to my piano class for the recital, which was NERVE-WRACKING. But at least I had a friend there. I only discovered she was in the same piano class, same teacher, 2 days ago - Friday. I saw the list of ppl who were gonna play in the recital, and I saw a grade 1 called Chow Shu.

So later I asked Ms. Shirley (my teach.) if Chow Shu learned ballet. MS said, "Ya how you know?" And I said she was in the same grade 4 ballet class as me! SO cool bcoz I only know Amanda Yumi Suzuki and one more girl from piano class, but we dun rilli talk and r more of acquaintances.

So anywayz, there were 19 ppl on the list and I was number 18. Chow Shu (CS) was number 17. But some ppl didn't come for some reason... 2 or 3 ppl didn't come, I think. So anyway, we sat next to each other, busy worrying and blowing our wet hands, while listening to other ppl play the piano.

Then there was this grade 6 girl, poor thing. Each person had to play 2 songs, and her first song... Well... About 3 or more of the first bars were sorta ok, but then the rest... well... let's just say it was as if she never heard of the song b4. She was like, sitting there, doing ntg. She had totally forgotten how to play it. So MS said gently, "Why don't you play the next song?" And she did.

The next song was... eh... on a scale of 0 to 100, 0 being the worst, she gets a 50 to 70. Then she had to play the first song again, but then it's back to square one. She's in the same awkward, embarrassing position. She couldn't do it. She looked at MS and just shook her head. So she got up and, when she rushed to the bathrooms, MS said to her, "Go home practice more." She sure go and cry wan... even Mum thinks so.

CS was pretty good, and when it was my turn, I had tied my hair to keep it from getting in my face. The first song was pretty... lame. I got like 3 or 4 mistakes =.= but the 2nd song was fine. But it's still very what since on Friday, I played those songs very nicely, but now... not so nice. BTW if you have a grade 3 exam piecies 2007-2008 book by ABRHSM or stg, I played B1 and C1 at the recital. But I have to play A3 for exam too.

So anywayz yesterday I bought this glitter pen stuff - 12 glitter pens. And one of them - the one which is the nicest blue in the world was ... like... when u pressed it on a piece of paper, the ink will just flow out. I found out why - the ball for the ballpoint was gone! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...

OMG I'm all out of funny! SOB!
