19 and 20 June, 2007 (Monday and Tuesday)
Yesterday at night, after dinner w/Laura, Sean, and their parents; Shi Hao, Shi Wei, Yu Wen, and their parents; one of my other cousins and his gf; and me and my parents at Elegant Inn, the car seemed to be slanting to one side. We have a flat tire, and so we had to stop to get the spare tire. But then the jack was gone, and so Dad had to borrow it from one of his friends who was at a restaurant nearby. But the jack couldn't lift the car high enough, and it was only later they decided to put a concrete block below the jack. But then wtv... Yesterday at devotion, Miss Emel said Miss Catherine's idea of writing a letter to someone you are grateful for was a good idea, and she asked us to write. We only had to write one, but some of us started writing more than one. Well this is who I wrote to (23): Rachel See, Zoe Tai, Zoe Natassha, Emily Chen, Hazel Chang, Paul Lyn, Paul Mae, Raquel, Miss Emel, Lydia Cherish, Shansa, Beenut (Bee Bee), Sarah Ti, Sarah See, Andrew Sanjay George, Saskia, Mr. Francis, Miss Catherine, Miss Abby, Esther, Wendy, Xin Yi, and Grace Kam. And this is who I received letters from (13): Paul Lyn, Zoe Tai, Zoe Natassha, Raquel, Rachel See, Paul Mae, Emily, Sarah Ti, Lydia Cherish, Andrew Sanjay, Saskia, and Hazel (Hazelnut), and Sarah See.I called Raquel, "Queen Raquella Findella de Roba" and Paul Mae, "Princess Paul Mae of Paulland". I signed it "Court Jester", and to Paul Mae, "Court jester three kingdoms away". This letter thing is really fun! I wrote Beenut 16 letters. That's right. SIXTEEN. But it won't seem so incredible when I tell you how I wrote them:The first letter says, "Thanks 4 this and that and blah blah blah...", and the second says, "See? Now you have 16 letters! Yay!" Then the other 14... I wrote 2 sentences and cut them up. 14 words. 14 letters.Wendy has a Tamagotchi v. 4 and she brings it to school! I mean, she plays with her Tama in public. When I had a Tama, I kept it in my pocket and only fed or played with it drugin lunchtime and break. Her pet is the one that looks like a walking poop, which is CUTE not GROSS.I keep singing Cheetah Girls songs on Youtube! They are quite high so I sing them as a sort of 'practice'. Btw anyone know if Mr. Fan and Miss Siow are supervisors or what? Coz I don't really know what to write in their letters (notes) zzzzzzzz....There is this series called Stardust, and it's so nice! Yu Wen borrowed me the book yesteday night and it is SO nice. Last night (midnight or stg), I woke up and used my penlight to read Stardust. It's so much fun to read in secret at midnight and try not to get caught. I know it is hard to keep your finger on the penlight, (it's really boring and tires yoru finger - fingers do not need exercise) so I tied a rubber band round the part where you press, and the light will come out. Ah. The work of a genius.Just kidding. But anyway today at P.E, I learned how horrible Josh Teo is. In Captain's Ball I was the catcher and had to stand on a chair to try and catch the ball, and he was defender, and Dawn and Paul Lyn were like, "You don't make her fall down ah~!" He still did. When I tried to catch the ball that was sailing high over my head, he tried to catch it too and made the chair topple over. But I did not fall on my butt or anything. My left foot was on the part of the chair where you rest your back on, and so I was standing. But kinda threw a little trantrum and didn't wanna b defender, but I had to. I went back up and Josh was like, "Ok la this time I won't stand so near." And he stood about a foot or 2 in fronta me. But then Beenut came and took my place as defender (yes! thank you for saving my life, my faithful, weird old human puppy!). Then later when Angie was catcher and Josh was still defender, she fell on her butt. But this time it wasn't Josh's fault. While tryina catch the ball, she went back too far and fell. But she was pretty okay. But we still lost by a long shot. Zzzzzz... It's sad.But one funny thing happened tho. Beenut got the ball and she threw it to me just as I was about to tie my hair up. So I caught the ball and said, "Don't throw to me! I'm tying my hair!" and threw it to someone else. The girls who were sitting in a row on the ground started laughing. But is it my fault the tie keeps slipping off? LOL. Sarah Ti says it was so girly.
