Taiwan Day 2
Omgomg, my feet hurt from walking around Taiwan! But I guess it's worth it, cause I bought a bunch of stuff from the bookstore in Taiwan. They have so many cutecutecute things! I bought three books by this Chinese girl called Selena-something-or-other, and they're about coloring and painting and stuff like that. They had anime paintings in there, which is kinda part of what made me buy it. But they're all in Chinese. Um. My Chinese stinks, in case you didn't know. I guess I'll just be looking at the pictures.Taiwan has really cute stuff! I like it because of all the adorable little thingssss. They even had these Japanese anime magazines at the bookstore, but I didn't buy it because I can't read Japanese. I'm thinking about going for Japanese classes though (but I don't know if I can). ^^ Yup, all this anime and manga lead me to it.We went to this museum thingy, too, today. It was pretty interesting. They had this stone (as in gem) colored and shaped like a piece of meat. It was called the Meat-Shaped Stone. It was sooo cool. It seriously looks real. Wow. And there was this impressive but less impressive than the Meat-Shaped Stone called... I don't know what it's called but it's shaped and originally colored like bokchoy.Cool, huh? I bought 3 packs of this cubed, soft, chewy-skinned thing with chocolate inside. It's so good. Taiwan food! We went to a bakery called Mister Donut, and they have really cool doughnuts. They're nothing like anything I've ever seen.And... eh! I gotta go already. Going to go eat dinner and shop at the night market. Sore feet guaranteed. Bye!11:57PM"You have to sleep early today!" is what my parents said to me earlier.Look at the time.Oh well. So much for sleeping early. We thankfully didn't go to the night market today. I really didn't feel like it. I think my parents didn't feel much like it (well, at least I know my dad didn't feel like it), either, so after dinner we were supposed to hail a cab and go home (as in, the hotel). I was feeling kinda tired. While we were walking down the stairs, this guy carrying a really big, adorable rabbit came along, and I just went crazy over the rabbit. Its name was Pudding. Isn't that cute?"Shi chi de hai shi yang de?" Mom asked the guy, referring to the rabbit. (Translation: Are you gonna eat that or is it your pet?")Me: O____________OThe guy said it was his pet (thank God!). OMG, the rabbit was sooooooooo cuteeeee!! Its nose was like sniffing the air nonstop. Kawaii~! Awwww! My tired-ness sorta disappeared after that.^^ Okay anyway, I said I wanted to go to this shop opposite where we ate dinner, called Tsururu. I had no idea what they sold there, but it was a Japanese title and the store was pink, so I wanted to go check it out. When we got closer, I realized it what they sold, so I said, "Oh, forget it. It's a cosmetics shop."Then my dad said, "Oh yeah, it is... Wait!" Then he said to my mom that he had to buy this face soap thing. I don't know what it is. So we went in.Everything there was from Japan! I was looking at this little pack with a small bottle of top coat, a small jar of blue glitter, and a jar of bluish-green sequins, when this young, friendly lady came and spoke to me in Chinese (EVERYONE here speaks Chinese; EVERYONE!!!!). "Zhe yi ge hen hao yong de!" she said, smiling (I think she smiles a lot). (Translation: This is really nice to use!")So she told me what it was and how to use it, and I started smiling because the product was really pretty, and also because her cheery attitude was kinda contagious. So I bought it. ^^ She gave me some free purple, sparkly flower nail stickers! I don't know when I'll be able to use them. Our school doesn't allow nail polish (but then again, some people wear nail polish anyway, and no one really says anything... at least I think no one says anything. Maybe I just don't pay attention). Then we passed by this shop called Julie, which sold reeaaaaallyyyy pretty things like handphone cozies, accessories, and crystals to decorate handphones with! OMG, my dad showed me the beautifully-decorated, awesome, fantastic handphones there, so we went and asked the clerk if they sold the crystals. (Duh, of course they did.)Soooooo... guess what happened???I BOUGHT THE GEMS TO DECORATE MY PHONE WITH!!!!Bwee hee hee~! I was so happy, I forgot all about being tired (I now realize that I felt tired when I'm bored or uninteresting in something or blah, but when I was having fun...). She took out this book with the different-colored crystals in them and their sizes and let me choose. Then she told my dad the price. Then we found out they were Swarovsky crystals. Geez. I thought they were plastic or something. They look a whole lot better and prettier than plastic, but I guess I was just too blur to notice that! One of the people working there insisted in Chinese, "No, really, it's Swarovsky. I'm not kidding. Look." Then she turned the book with the crystals in them and we saw that it had Swarovsky's logo on it.=.='' Swt. Lolz. They were about 3 Taiwanese money (um... I think it's called NT. NT3. I'm not sure. NT3 sounds like a channel. I'll just call it NT okay?), which is 30 Malaysian cents, each. I chose the colors (bluish-green, pink, clear, and purple), and got about 20 each, which adds up to a total of 80 crystals. They are SO pretty. I can't wait to go decorate my phone.Eep! Gotta make this fast. I have to go to sleep already. So we got a bunch of stuff there (handphone cozies which are uber-cute and a hairband and whatever) and left, really happy. Taiwan has a LOT of cute accessories and stuff, like omg. That's what I love about Taiwan (the shops are pretty small, though). And the food is good, too.We went back for some "zhen zu nai cha" or something (pearl milk tea = milk tea with chewy, edible little black balls it). Then we came back to the hotel. On TV in our hotel room, they were talking about something on the news, and they even had a blurry, black-and-white video. This innocent little dog came out in the middle of the street and pooped there. A man came and got really angry about it, for some stinking reason, so he kicked the poor dog and made it land about 2 feet away. Then he went inside a building to call out the owner of the animal, which was a lady. So the lady came out with a broom to clean up the mess, and the man kicked her. Then he kicked the dog again. The dog died.
Freaking idiot. I wish he'd... Ugh. I don't know what his problem is. So a dog pooped on a road. So what? It's not like the road was made of gold or belonged to the guy or anything. Geez! I wish he'd go to jail for 10 years, but my mom says all he got was a fine and a warning that if he did it again, he'd be thrown in jail. Stupid guy. My mom also told me the guy was an old man. Hmm.
Don't care. People who kick dogs for doing things they do everyday should learn gymnastics or something so they can stay home and kick themselves in the behind all day long. Wouldn't that be nice. Geez, I hate people who kick animals (unless that animal is vermin or trying to kill them or something)! That guy is such a loser. GOooOoOoOOOoooOoOOOsh!!!
Gotta go now or my parents just might ban me from my laptop. See ya!
