Chicken Pox Rules!
Did you know... that chicken pox is actually not so bad after all? School is cancelled for one week because of the chicken pox going around. 1) Saskia, 2) Emily, 3) Paul Mae, 4) Shr Hau, I think, but I'm not sure. Bwee hee hee~ ^^
Plus, I'm staying over at Yu Wen's house today! But she has school tomorrow! Gyaaaaah! Whywhywhy? *bangs head on table* I HOPE THE PEOPLE IN SRI KDU GET CHICKEN POX TOOOOOO!! ... Nononono, I take that back! That's meaaaan!
Haiz. A-ny-waaaay, congratulations to Tash because the guy she likes likes her back! They're not together, though... yet. Oh, and by the way, please stop swearing... =.='' Although I don't think you will listen. It usually just goes in one ear and out the other, sliding past your brain.Labels: chicken pox, sri kdu, swearing, tash

Animals and Astronomy
This is something out of Jia Wei's Chinese exercise books, where he had to form a few sentences, each containing a particular word.
What he wrote:
凶猛 = 老师是一个凶猛的动物。
Translation: Ferocious = [My] teacher is a ferocious animal.
What he probably meant to write:
凶猛 = 狮子是一个凶猛的动物。
Translation: Ferocious = A tiger is a ferocious animal.
Lolz. My brother. His teacher must have been laughing like crazy, or maybe deeply offended. Lolz. Jia He said the Forbidden Word yesterday when we were late to pick him up. I don't know why he got so mad about us being late for like, 10 minutes, but I seriously felt like smacking him until he flew out the window or something. But I was trying to control myself and be a good girl *a shining halo appears above my head*, so I called him a loser and replied "ha ha" every time he said something. I think that annoyed him more than if I had replied with something equally as bad as the Forbidden Word.
Church yesterday was really fun! We watched a video called Indescribable by Louie Giglio and omg! Watch it! It's beauuuutiful... I think I finally realized how awesome astronomy is, and I think I'll have to work really hard on science, which I'm way behind at, if I want to be an astronomer. There were so many pictures of constellations and galaxies and stuff, I can barely believe it. It made me think... God is bigger and greater than I ever imagined.
You know, I wonder why I just stand there and look around while other people around me are crying or whatever when someone preaches something that touches them. I don't cry. I just look around and wonder why they're crying and I'm not. Doesn't mean I'm heartless though. Or cold-hearted. But I totally LOVED yesterday's video. Here are some pictures from the video (names below):
Pleiades Constellation
Distance: currently thought to be roughly 440 light years
Sombrero Galaxy
Distance: (average between 2 methods to measure distance) 29.3 million light years
Hourglass Nebula
Distance: 8,000 light years
Whirlpool Galaxy
Distance: 23 million light years
X-Structure at the Core of Whirlpool Galaxy
OMG. Doesn't that last picture look like a cross? As in, the Cross? It's amazing! Totally amazing!!
And I decorated my phone last night. I bought 80 different-sized Swarovski crystals in 4 different colors -- magenta, clear, teal, and lavender -- in Taiwan, remember? Remember, people? I decorated them into a heart at the bottom left side of the back of my black phone (Nokia 6300) and stuck them on with AB glue. I also bought 2 earrings (not in pairs), 1 butterfly and 1 pink flower, and got the lady in the shop to cut off the sharp part, then I stuck the butterfly and pink flower on, but I'm worried that they will come off... I'm quite careless with my phone.
And also, Paul Mae has chicken pox. That's right, people. CHICKEN POX. Why are so many people getting chicken pox nowadays? First Emily, who passed it on to her maid and her dad, then Saskia, and now Paul Mae. I hope I'm not the next victim. But if I do get it, the bright side is that I can use it as a weapon against my 3 brothers! When they annoy me, I can just threaten them, "If you keep pestering me, I'll touch you and spread my chicken pox! Wahaha!" Then they'll run off screaming.
Just kidding... I think.

The Biggest Star
2 nights ago...
Mum: Jiayu, come and look at this star! It's so big! Come look!
Me: *gets out of bed and walks over to the window. The star was REALLY huge.*
Mum: Isn't it big? I've never seen such a big star!
Me: Mummy, I don't think it's a star.
Mum:
Me: Mummy, it's moving. I think it's a plane.
Mum: What? No.
Me: Look, see? It's moving slowly upwards and there are more lights flashing around it.
Mum: ... Oh.

International Understanding Day
So like I said, I brought a big black bag of clothes to Tash's house after church, and in the end Aunty Sally suggested that I wear this white shirt with polka dots and straps that connected at the back of my neck if you get what I mean, that magenta Somerset Bay skirt I wore for Awards Night last year, a white jacket, a long silver necklace with a plastic dark pink star, and my favorite brown jelly ballet flats.
Tash wore an orange shirt with studded patterns, black above-the-knee pants, my striped green-and-white jacket with sleeves that just cover the shoulders from Singapore (she really likes it), and a pair of pinkish shoes that she hates. Her mom made her wear the shoes. Poor Tash. She really, really hates those shoes. And guess what? It turns out Tash's school is my mom's old school, which I went to before for my piano theory exam this year somewhere in March. It was pretty hot there, as in the temperature... it was warm. And yes, we did not take off our jackets. There were other people who wore jackets there too, so whatever. I finally realized what Lala was today. I used to think Lalas were people who wore long socks, short skirts, and colorful shirts.Today I also realized why so many people don't like Lalas.
Ugh. I saw one girl with this strapless hot pink dress, a bold neon yellow belt, and bright purple tights. It looked pretty horrible... I'm sorry, but it's the truth. And there was one girl (not a Lala) who wore a sky blue, princessy dress with white tights and white shoes. Her outfit looked very Barbie fairy-like. Lol.
It was pretty fun there! We sat on these plastic chairs and watched people perform onstage - boring speeches, really cool magic tricks, the band, a guy with an Albert Einstein mask and white wig shuffling and breakdancing (SO COOL! I never realized... I used to want to learn breakdancing, you know. Don't laugh. That Einstein was really good at dancing... I mean REALLY) and other ordinary people shuffling and breakdancing too...
The best part was the shuffling and breakdancing and acting like they're robots or have bone made of jelly. Some parts were pretty perverted though, but they were funny. Like when a guy passed his hand over Albert Einstein's body (he wasn't touching it) and Einsten moved his body like it was jelly and followed the movement of his hand. If you get what I mean. Einstein was like a puppet, you know, and the other guy was like controlling him by passing his hand over Einstein. Then -- this is the perverted part -- the Other Guy stopped his hand right in front of Einstein's you-know-what and kind of moved his hand up and down, fast, and Einstein moved "that part" so it followed the hand, and then he fell (on purpose). Yup, that was sick. And also in another performance, 3 guys faced the audience and put one hand in front of their dot-dot-dot-s and then another hand, and then they kind of... they kind of moved their hands up and down vigorously like they were rubbing or scratching it or something... But we actually laughed at that.I know. Sick. Gross. Perverted. But also funny. Don't call me a pervert! 'Cause I'm not. It was just funny, that's all. We had a break and went to the small buffet table (only ONE table for who-knows-how-many people) for our food. Tash and I sat really near the table, so when they said we could go to the buffet "in an orderly fashion", we pretty much ran there and grabbed our plates and food. When we got our food and wanted to go back for forks, there was this line of people queuing up and a bunch of people crowding around the table.
Thank God we got a good seat. While Tash and I were walking back to our seats, this man looked at me and said, "Hi." And you know what I did? I just walked away without saying anything. I know -- RUDE! Sorry. I know, I know, I was so totally rude rude rude, wasn't I? Oh, and I saw Lance (Tash's ex) today. He walked over to us and said hi to Tash, and asked, "And this is...?" referring to me.
So Tash introduced me as Fishy (did you know Lance has a best friend called Fish? What a coincidence, right? He sat behind Tash today), and Lance said that Tash has been telling him all about me so he pretty much knows all about my personal life.
Lol. There was this girl, Rebecca, who sat beside Tash, and a cute guy called Adrian sat behind her. So Rebecca and Tash asked me if I thought that the guy was cute, and I said, "Kind of", and they were gushing about him and everything. Rebecca and Tash said me and Adrian match (as in, our outfits), which I don't really understand. He was wearing stripes, and I was wearing polka dots. That doesn't match! Maybe they were talking about the COLOR of our outfits. I think his was maroon-ish and something else, but I'm not sure...
Haha. He was kind of cute. I think I better stop talking about him. You see, I have this problem. If I see a guy and think he's kind of cute, if I keep thinking or talking about him, I'll start thinking that he's cuter than he really is.
And Tash got his number. Lol. And there was this fashion show, too, where a guy dressed up as a slutty girl (not in clothing, but in his -- or her -- attitude). They gave him a wig, red lipstick, and things to stuff down his front. Lolz. Then this guy in pajamas hugged Mr. Bean's Teddy bear and paraded down the stage and red carpet rolled out between the seats. It was funnn... Hahaha. We also looked for Tash's friend for a long time, and then we found out he didn't come. Lolz. I'm getting the order of events all wrong. We actually looked for her friend during the break. Well, who cares if the order of events is wrong, right? It might be a little confusing, but oh well.I also discovered a cool new song (from Tash's blog): I Kissed a Girl by Katy Perry -- yes, Katy is a girl. She's straight though. It's just the song. It's really nice, but the lyrics are kind of wrong, what with the lesbian business and all.Labels: clothes, i kissed a girl, iu day, kind of cute guy

Clothing Crisis
CRISIS. Today is IU (International Understanding) Day and Tash's school is having a party called "Rock the Red Carpet" and she invited me. WHAT TO WEAR!!!! The dress code is smart casual/semi-formal. Tash says that some of her friends are wearing dresses and makeup and stuff, but another girl called Chloe is just wear a shirt and a miniskirt.
Goooooooooooooosh!! Tash might be wearing a cardigan with a shirt inside, and a miniskirt. And me, I'm just bringing a big bag of clothes to her house after church so we can decide. What if we're UNDERDRESSED???? Ugghhhhhh!
Help me!!!
Although I doubt there's anything you can do.
You know, I never thought I'd be panicking over clothes.Labels: clothes, iu day, what to wear

Shopping [at the bookstore] is Like a Cure For Disappointment
I know I'm not supposed to be using the computer, but I'm at Yu Wen's house and I got permission from my mom, so it's fine. Our gymnastics class was cancelled yesterday because they said if we went we'd be joining the really little kids, so they didn't want to waste our time that way. I was really upset about it when I got the SMS from my mom when I checked my phone after school. I was looking so forward to it, and it was CANCELLED. But I felt a whole lot better when Mom took me shopping at The Gardens (connected to Mid Valley) and brought me to Borders. I bought the 3rd volume of Vampire Knight and 10 volume of Skip Beat!. The guys in VK are SO hot, and SB is really, really interesting and funny. I didn't really mind missing gymnastics for that. Not really. Then we went to the address, this shop selling freakishly expensive but pretty things. My mom bought a lamp there. It's a little gross, the lamp. I think it's made of ceramic or something, with small white-and-blue tiles studded on the whole thing, making an irregular pattern when you put the lamp over the bulb. It's in the shape of a lady's body (no clothes!), from the neck to the thighs, and hands that are cut off after the shoulders. It's hollow on the inside, so you put it over this dark piece of wood with a light bulb on it, and the statue/lamp lights up. Reminds me of this famous statue I saw on TV, but I don't know what it's called. We went for our first official gymnastics class just now and it was fun! Although I have to admit that the trial lesson was for some reason a little better. Embarrassing that I can't do a split (not even close to one; there are 2 kinds of splits and I practiced the other one). But oh well. I'll learn. At least I can do a bridge, right? Learned it a long time ago. JoAnne and F. Sher-Lyn taught me.I've got to go home now. Too bad I can't stay longer. Bye!Labels: gymnastics, skip beat, the gross lamp, vampire knight

An Uber Short Happy Birthday
Shoot. I forgot to publicly wish some people happy birthday on my blog. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Celine (I already wished her, but never mind), Paul Mae, and Bee Bee.Gymnastics classes tomorrow! Finally! I've been waiting for this moment for a loooong time. Too bad it's only 1 hour long. That's pretty short if you ask me, and time flies by when you're having fun. Tash invited me to her school party, and I want to go, even though I'm probably not going to socialize with random strangers I don't know.I wonder what we'll do there? Is it just eating and talking and drinking [water or juice]? I don't think they'll be playing hide and seek or anything, like we did at Celine's birthday party. They're probably not so childish as me. ^^ That's why I like hanging out with people who are younger than me.Darn. I did some quizzes just now but there was some problem with Blogger, so I deleted the quizzes. Oh well.

I like quizzes. They're fun!
You Are 36% Bitchy |
You're a pretty sweet person, and you're definitely not prone to bitchy outbursts. Sometimes, though, you can't help thinking mean thoughts about people. But at least you don't act on them! |
***
People Definitely Like You |
You are very well liked, and many people admire you. You are friendly, well mannered, and fun to be around. Of course, you're not perfect... but that's okay. Your friends are usually willing to accept you for who you are!
What People Don't Like About You:
People don't like that you're not very interesting or engaging. You often bore them... and yourself.
People don't like that you forget them easily. No one wants to be friends with someone who doesn't remember their name!
People don't like that you hide from your mistakes and avoid apologizing. It just makes everything worse.
What People Like About You:
People like that you can defend what you believe in calmly and rationally. You stand your ground and gain respect.
People like your self deprecating sense of humor and that you don't take yourself too seriously.
People like that you don't gossip or talk poorly of others. They trust that you will speak positively about them too. |
***
You Are Buffy the Vampire Slayer |
"We saved the world. I say we have to party." |
What Superheroine Are You? ***
Your Wrath Quotient: 31% |
Sometimes you get really angry, but nothing out of the norm. While you may wish someone harm, it's pretty unlikely that you'd actually do anything about it. |
How Much Wrath Do You Have? ***
You Will Be a Cool Parent |

You seem to naturally know a lot about parenting, and you know what kids need. You can tell when it's time to let kids off the hook, and when it's time to lay down the law. While your parenting is modern and hip, it's not over the top. You know that there's nothing cool about a parent who acts like a teenager... or a drill sergeant! |
Would You Be a Cool Parent? ***
Wahahah! We'll see!
***
Your Observation Skills Get A B |
Your senses are pretty sharp (okay, most of the time) And it takes something big to distract you! |
***
You Make a Good First Impression |
You probably are making a much better impression than you realize. Social situations can be a bit awkward for you at times, and you tend to over think what you say and do. If you make a social faux pas, you remember it a lot longer than anyone else does.
Just relax and do your best. There are little things you can do to improve your social image. Express more of an interest in the people around you, and be a good listener. The secret of fascinating people is that they find everyone else fascinating! |
What Kind of First Impression Do You Make? ***
You Are 28% Phobic |
Scared? You? Not really. Everyone has a few normal phobias, and you're no exception. It's okay to be afraid of a few things. You wouldn't be human if you weren't. |
***
You Could Be a Vampire... If You Had To |
Like most people, the thought of being a vampire has crossed your mind. But you're not sure if you'd do it, even if you could. Living forever doesn't sound half bad, if you could live forever with the people you love the most. But do vampires even love? And would the vampire version of you even be you? It's all too much to contemplate. Luckily, the chances of you ever becoming a vampire are astronomically low.
What you would like best about being a vampire: Living forever
What you would like least about being a vampire: Blood stained teeth |
***
What? I like living forever? No way. Everyone I knew would die before me.
***
Your Spelling is Good |
You got 9/10 correct.
Your spelling is generally pretty decent. You are prone to a few mistakes, but the mistakes you make are pretty forgivable. |
***
What Your Taste in Chocolate Says About You |
You are unique, creative, and fascinating. You don't do what's expected of you. You go for what's unknown and uncharted.
You are laid back and fairly easy to please. All you need in life is your friends. Sometimes you go along to get along... but you don't mind.
You love new adventures and activities. You enjoy living a full life, even if it is chaotic. You feel lost when things are quiet. You rather not think... you prefer to just do! |
***
You Are A Little Snobby |
And being a little snobby every once and a while is totally allowed. Because if no one was ever snobby, no one would ever try to dress up or look pretty. And while you do enjoy the finest things in life (that you can afford), you tire of superficiality. You know there's more to life than what's just on the surface. |
***
You Are Not Scary |
Everyone loves you. Isn't that sweet? |
***
What Your Little Black Dress Says About You |
You are lively and outgoing. You are naturally friendly. You enjoy meeting new people and making new connections.
Your style is whimsical and unique. You're good at putting together interesting outfits.
If you were a shoe, you would be: High heeled boots |
The Little Black Dress Test ***
Actually, I don't really love meeting new people because I feel awkward with people I don't know, and I don't usually talk to them much. But they're right about the lively part!
***
There's Not a Violent Bone in Your Body |
You're cool and collected, even when someone really gets under your skin. And while you don't blow up when you're angry, you know how to express your anger calmly. You don't bottle emotions up or let them get out of control. For you, violence would never be an option. |
***
I'm not sure if this is entirely true...
***
Your Life is 17% Off Track |
No doubt about it, you are living the right life. You've made some great decisions, and they've definitely paid off. Keep it up. You're on the right track! |
Are You Living The Wrong Life? ***
You Should Rule Mars |
Mars is a planet that shines brightly and loops wildly around the solar system.
You are perfect to rule Mars, because you are both energetic and independent. Like Mars, you seems attractive and bright to others - but you're difficult to pin down.
You are a great thinker, but you only think in the present and ignore the future. Full of enthusiasm and inspiration, you are into your own thing... and rather insensitive to others. |
What Planet Should You Rule? ***
You Are 24% Brutally Honest |
Honesty is nice, but only when it's convenient. You rather be nice than honest. You figure it's important to be honest about the big stuff, but little lies never hurt anyone! |

Celine's Birthday Party!
I just came back from Celine's [early] birthday just now (Celine is 9), and it was so much fun! At 4PM, when church ended, my mom was supposed to wait for my brothers' children church to end (it ends at 4:30, but they usually play around until 5), but I rushed her, saying that Celine's party started at 4 and I was already late. When I got there... I found out that it actually started at 5PM, so I was early, along with Hazel Chang, Lydia Chang, Saskia, Joyce, and Wendy. So we sat around and walked around the house, chatting and waiting for the others to arrive. When they finally did, we played games: the first, Helloha. You say "ha" to your left and "hello" to your right. If your friend on your left says "hello" to you, you either turn your head to right and say "hello", or turn back to the friend and say "ha". If you get it mixed up, you lose. The second was this game where you blow up two balloons and tie them to your ankles with raffia strings. Then you run around and try to burst other people's balloons while they try to destroy yours. I sat out for this. It's a scary game. I don't want balloons exploding all over me.The third was Dance and Freeze - you dance, and when the music stops, you freeze, and people will try to make you laugh. If you laugh or move, you're out. Me and Celine were the last two survivors in this game, so I did a bit of the chicken dance and and copied Celine for some. I was about to tuck my hair behind my ears when the music stopped, so I was stuck in that position for a while, and Sarah and Hazel took pictures of it, with my hands in my hair. They said it looked like a model pose or something. I wonder how it turned out? I probably looked sweaty =.= But I won! Where's my prize, by the way? Then there was this sort of charades, where we were divided into 4 teams and had to act out a scene from a movie, like "Tarzan" or "High School Musical" or "Mulan". Celine and my team (we're both in team 1) won! Yay us! But really, where IS our prize? We were supposed to get a prize at the end, but we didn't get any! ='(
Then we ate dinner (mushroom soup, grilled chicken wings, buns, mashed potatoes with gravy, spaghetti with tomato sauce, pineapple-and-Sprite -- it actually tastes good). Speaking about mixed drinks, Lydia Wester mixed orange juice and Pepsi together yesterday at my church when we went for the One Life exhibition. She said it tasted good, so I wanted to try it. Then I looked into the cup and realized how remarkably like diarrhoea it looked like. Really. It was this disgusting brown color, like super-watery diarrhoea. And it had this weird taste.
Then we (me, Saskia, and Megan) went upstairs to watch TV with Celine and Natassha Zoe and some other people (all of whom were younger than me -- I'm 13 in November, but 12 now). Then we had to go back down to sing "Happy Birthday" to Celine. The chocolate cake looked delicious, but I didn't get to try it. Me and Sas were hunting for it, but it disappeared off somewhere.
After that... things got REALLY fun.
Me, Saskia, Celine, Jared, Jeremy, some of Celine's little friends, and etc. played hide-and-seek-in-the-dark in the average-sized guest room. There were so many people, and someone had farted, so it smelled really bad in the beginning. After that, it smelled like sweat. Me and Sas hid beside the bed, on the floor, along with a couple other children huddled on the floor. Once, someone hid behind my behind. Then in another round, someone lay her head on my leg, and Saskia's head was just above mine, and her hair was going onto my face. It was so hot and sweaty and cramped, but it was really fun!
Then we played hide-and-seek around the house. This small girl (I think she was like 5 or 6) called Lauren came into the dark bathroom that me and Saskia were hiding in. She said she was scared, so we let her hide with us, and I put my hands on her shoulders and she touched my hand because 1) she was scared, and 2) Saskia probably made her even more scared by saying:
Saskia: Hey, what if there's a monster here and it comes out?
Me: Saskia, stop scaring Lauren... Hey, I can see the street from here *peers through the window blinds*.
Saskia: Duh. Lauren, are you scared?
Lauren: *silence*
Saskia: Did she turn into a zombie or something?
Then, after that, we hid under Sarah Ti's bed. If I hid under the bed and looked down at the floor, my face was 1 or .5 of a centimeter from the floor. The bed was had this thin divider thing in the middle of the underside of it, so me, Lauren, and Celine were squeezed on one side, with Natassha Zoe on the other. Saskia hid beside the bed because there was no space.
Seriously, we were sweating like water ballons with a hundred holes in them. And we were practically breathing in sweat. It was like taking a shower... but it was fun! We were talking with each other and laughing, then the seekers came in and we became kind-of quiet. They actually went back out without finding us. Omg. Hahaha!
We played War after that, but it wasn't very fun. Then Saskia and I stayed in the guest room while no one was inside and enjoyed the nice air-conditioning. We talked and listened to music for like 2 minutes, and then our peace was disturbed by little children coming in and asking, "What are you doing here?" and stuff like that.
It was so fun. John's (Celine and Sarah's elder brother) has a really cool room on the 3rd floor. It has a slanted ceiling on one side, like an attic, and then a sofa, and a short corridor leading to a bathroom.
I think that their house is nicely furnished, even the bathrooms.
I took the mash quiz again, and this time I filled it in with nonsense. I rather like my results. It's above this post.Labels: celine's party, fun, mash quiz

Taiwan Day 3, 4, 5
There's just too much to write [in detail]! Which is why I didn't post anything about Taiwan in the last 2 days. I'll just give you a quick summary. On Sunday, Ming Di (Yu Wen's mom's youngest sister) brought us around Taiwan to these places I forgot the names of. It was really fun! We rode around in this black van.The temperature in Taiwan is sizzling hot at this time of the year. We had to carry umbrellas around, and sweat like crazy. We went to this place that had a rock that seriously looked like a queen's head, if you look at it from a certain angle. I love Taiwan food. They have a lot of really good snacks and stuff. We went to the museum thing and saw the biggest piece of gold in the world, I think. It weighed about 300-odd kilograms, and you can actually touch it. There were some scratch marks on the gold, because gold is soft. It's made of 99.9% (or something like that) gold and the rest is something else. We also went to see the "Crown Prince Chalet", where Prince Hirohito from Japan stayed when he came to Taiwan. We went to the market, too, with Ming Di. The evening sky was beautiful, like a painting or something. I was taking pictures of it from the car, so most of them were kinda blur.On Monday, we wanted to go to the shop, called Julia, where I bought the Swarovski crystals for my phone, but it wasn't open yet, so we went to a tiny shop beside it. I bought 2 different earrings (not in pairs) and had the lady there clip off the sharp point so I could stick the earrings on my phone. I also bought some really pretty hair accessories there. We ate lunch at this place (called Niu Ba Ba something - niu: cow; ba ba: father) that was famous for their beef noodles. There were a lot of framed newspaper, magazine articles about the restaurant. We went to the biggest bookstore in Taiwan (in a building called "eslite"), and there I bought this silver butterfly necklace with real butterfly wings as the pendant! It's not what you think! They took the wings after the butterfly died. There were 2, one in this beautiful blue color and the other in... I don't know, actually. It changes color depending on which angle you're looking at it. I took a really long time choosing, but in the end I bought the 2nd one (the guy said he'd recommend the blue one if I wanted to wear it, but the 2nd one if I wanted to collect it, because the blue one was really nice and the 2nd one was hard to get).I also bought 2 My Flat in London bags by someone called Jan Haedrich. Very girly, very feminine. The clerk there spoke to us in English, so we spoke back to her in English. But the way she spoke... it sounded like she was having a lot of trouble. I thought she was Japanese or something. But then later my mom said something in Chinese, then the girl was like, in Mandarin, "Ahhh! You know how to speak Chinese? Why didn't you speak in Chinese? I was going to die! I don't know how to speak English!"
Lol, right? Then we went to the 101 Tower, just to take a few pictures, and went back to the hotel. Then we went to the Shilin night market. Taiwan night markets are very different from the ones here. They're a lot nicer. The shops there are small, but most are decorated very, VERY nicely. And they're actually in buildings, but most of them have no front door (but they do have air-conditioning).
We woke up at 5:45AM (it was bright, even at that time of the day) today because the flight was really early. Then blah.
Well, so much for a short summary. The first one was short though. Omg, the stuff in Taiwan are so niceeeeee! And can you believe the Vampire Knight anime, season 1, has only 13 EPISODES??? But it's sooooooooooooo nice and I love it! I watched it in our hotel room (we upgraded our room to the executive-something so we had Internet access there, and now my Youtube's in Chinese and I don't know how to change it back =.=).
OMG!! I can't wait for season 2.

Taiwan Day 2
Omgomg, my feet hurt from walking around Taiwan! But I guess it's worth it, cause I bought a bunch of stuff from the bookstore in Taiwan. They have so many cutecutecute things! I bought three books by this Chinese girl called Selena-something-or-other, and they're about coloring and painting and stuff like that. They had anime paintings in there, which is kinda part of what made me buy it. But they're all in Chinese. Um. My Chinese stinks, in case you didn't know. I guess I'll just be looking at the pictures.Taiwan has really cute stuff! I like it because of all the adorable little thingssss. They even had these Japanese anime magazines at the bookstore, but I didn't buy it because I can't read Japanese. I'm thinking about going for Japanese classes though (but I don't know if I can). ^^ Yup, all this anime and manga lead me to it.We went to this museum thingy, too, today. It was pretty interesting. They had this stone (as in gem) colored and shaped like a piece of meat. It was called the Meat-Shaped Stone. It was sooo cool. It seriously looks real. Wow. And there was this impressive but less impressive than the Meat-Shaped Stone called... I don't know what it's called but it's shaped and originally colored like bokchoy.Cool, huh? I bought 3 packs of this cubed, soft, chewy-skinned thing with chocolate inside. It's so good. Taiwan food! We went to a bakery called Mister Donut, and they have really cool doughnuts. They're nothing like anything I've ever seen.And... eh! I gotta go already. Going to go eat dinner and shop at the night market. Sore feet guaranteed. Bye!11:57PM"You have to sleep early today!" is what my parents said to me earlier.Look at the time.Oh well. So much for sleeping early. We thankfully didn't go to the night market today. I really didn't feel like it. I think my parents didn't feel much like it (well, at least I know my dad didn't feel like it), either, so after dinner we were supposed to hail a cab and go home (as in, the hotel). I was feeling kinda tired. While we were walking down the stairs, this guy carrying a really big, adorable rabbit came along, and I just went crazy over the rabbit. Its name was Pudding. Isn't that cute?"Shi chi de hai shi yang de?" Mom asked the guy, referring to the rabbit. (Translation: Are you gonna eat that or is it your pet?")Me: O____________OThe guy said it was his pet (thank God!). OMG, the rabbit was sooooooooo cuteeeee!! Its nose was like sniffing the air nonstop. Kawaii~! Awwww! My tired-ness sorta disappeared after that.^^ Okay anyway, I said I wanted to go to this shop opposite where we ate dinner, called Tsururu. I had no idea what they sold there, but it was a Japanese title and the store was pink, so I wanted to go check it out. When we got closer, I realized it what they sold, so I said, "Oh, forget it. It's a cosmetics shop."Then my dad said, "Oh yeah, it is... Wait!" Then he said to my mom that he had to buy this face soap thing. I don't know what it is. So we went in.Everything there was from Japan! I was looking at this little pack with a small bottle of top coat, a small jar of blue glitter, and a jar of bluish-green sequins, when this young, friendly lady came and spoke to me in Chinese (EVERYONE here speaks Chinese; EVERYONE!!!!). "Zhe yi ge hen hao yong de!" she said, smiling (I think she smiles a lot). (Translation: This is really nice to use!")So she told me what it was and how to use it, and I started smiling because the product was really pretty, and also because her cheery attitude was kinda contagious. So I bought it. ^^ She gave me some free purple, sparkly flower nail stickers! I don't know when I'll be able to use them. Our school doesn't allow nail polish (but then again, some people wear nail polish anyway, and no one really says anything... at least I think no one says anything. Maybe I just don't pay attention). Then we passed by this shop called Julie, which sold reeaaaaallyyyy pretty things like handphone cozies, accessories, and crystals to decorate handphones with! OMG, my dad showed me the beautifully-decorated, awesome, fantastic handphones there, so we went and asked the clerk if they sold the crystals. (Duh, of course they did.)Soooooo... guess what happened???I BOUGHT THE GEMS TO DECORATE MY PHONE WITH!!!!Bwee hee hee~! I was so happy, I forgot all about being tired (I now realize that I felt tired when I'm bored or uninteresting in something or blah, but when I was having fun...). She took out this book with the different-colored crystals in them and their sizes and let me choose. Then she told my dad the price. Then we found out they were Swarovsky crystals. Geez. I thought they were plastic or something. They look a whole lot better and prettier than plastic, but I guess I was just too blur to notice that! One of the people working there insisted in Chinese, "No, really, it's Swarovsky. I'm not kidding. Look." Then she turned the book with the crystals in them and we saw that it had Swarovsky's logo on it.=.='' Swt. Lolz. They were about 3 Taiwanese money (um... I think it's called NT. NT3. I'm not sure. NT3 sounds like a channel. I'll just call it NT okay?), which is 30 Malaysian cents, each. I chose the colors (bluish-green, pink, clear, and purple), and got about 20 each, which adds up to a total of 80 crystals. They are SO pretty. I can't wait to go decorate my phone.Eep! Gotta make this fast. I have to go to sleep already. So we got a bunch of stuff there (handphone cozies which are uber-cute and a hairband and whatever) and left, really happy. Taiwan has a LOT of cute accessories and stuff, like omg. That's what I love about Taiwan (the shops are pretty small, though). And the food is good, too.We went back for some "zhen zu nai cha" or something (pearl milk tea = milk tea with chewy, edible little black balls it). Then we came back to the hotel. On TV in our hotel room, they were talking about something on the news, and they even had a blurry, black-and-white video. This innocent little dog came out in the middle of the street and pooped there. A man came and got really angry about it, for some stinking reason, so he kicked the poor dog and made it land about 2 feet away. Then he went inside a building to call out the owner of the animal, which was a lady. So the lady came out with a broom to clean up the mess, and the man kicked her. Then he kicked the dog again. The dog died.
Freaking idiot. I wish he'd... Ugh. I don't know what his problem is. So a dog pooped on a road. So what? It's not like the road was made of gold or belonged to the guy or anything. Geez! I wish he'd go to jail for 10 years, but my mom says all he got was a fine and a warning that if he did it again, he'd be thrown in jail. Stupid guy. My mom also told me the guy was an old man. Hmm.
Don't care. People who kick dogs for doing things they do everyday should learn gymnastics or something so they can stay home and kick themselves in the behind all day long. Wouldn't that be nice. Geez, I hate people who kick animals (unless that animal is vermin or trying to kill them or something)! That guy is such a loser. GOooOoOoOOOoooOoOOOsh!!!
Gotta go now or my parents just might ban me from my laptop. See ya!

Taiwannnn~
Hi! I'm in Taiwan right now, at this nice hotel that thankfully has Internet access. Geez, that flight was long. 4 hours my foot. It was 5 hours. My mom doesn't feel tired even though it's like, 12:14AM (same time as Malaysia) right now (we ate dinner at about 11) because she slept in the plane, but me and my dad didn't (I watched the Vampire Knight anime episodes I loaded from at home, played with my DS, and listened to music on my phone - with earphones, of course).I knew I should have slept, so I tried to sleep with my earphones on and music playing, but then I got distracted. Oh well. But I saw this really cool sight from the airplane window today. Guess what it waaas?
It was LIGHTNING!
KA-BOOM, CRACK, FIZZLE!!
Um. I don't think lightning makes those noises but whatever. It was so cool. I saw these weird yellowish flashes of light behind this cloud, then suddenly the flash got brighter than ever and this crooked yellow snake appeared and seemed to zap a mountain below. Some lightning flashes were so bright, I could see the landscape below it. It was so cool. There's nothing like watching lighting when you're above and some distance away from it.
I was hoping to see this endless stretch of snowy hills and the desert from the plane, like I did before, but I didn't. It's really nice to see though. Really beautiful.
A-ny-wayyyy... Um. Yeah. I have nothing really to type 'cause I kinda just got here a while ago...? Okay, I didn't "just get here" but I didn't spend a lot of time here yet. They have Internet in this room! Yay!
And, OMG, Aido Hanabusa from Vampire Knight is so adorable. Too bad he always gets in trouble with Kaname (he gets hit or slapped by Kaname). Haha!! Aidoooooo... Zero is sooo hottttt... Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
'Kays bye! Gonna go chat on MSN!!
P.S. I can't believe I'm staying up so late and my parents aren't complaining! ^^ Yay.

The Rainbows are Back
As you might have already noticed (unless you're not too bright), this post is colored! I've decided (with the help of Melissa Y) that I will color my posts and just use blogskins with black or white backgrounds. Bye bye, Tsubasa...Anyway, you might also have noticed that I am blogging on a Tuesday. I'm at Aurelia's house because I went to the dentist just now (and it was hor-ri-BLECH), and we're waiting for the movie Kung Fu Panda to start playing at The Mines (the crappiest mall ever). There's nothing to see at The Mines. Ugh.Better make this quick. I wore the uniform skirt to school today (surprise, surprise!). Kind of embarrassing, but my jeans are at stake. I mean, if I wear jeans to school, 5 times a week, I can't wear them on weekends or to anywhere else, because that's like I'm living in jeans. And also one of my jeans is starting to wear out. The hem at the bottom is kind of... yeah.Pretty sad, isn't it? I had so many people asking me about the skirt thing today, and it was like, gosh. So now you know the reason, PLEASE don't ask me about it at school okay? I don't like to repeat myself so many times. I'll be wearing it only 2 times a week (on Tuesdays and Thursdays) so don't get noisy when I come to school in old jeans tomorrow. Well, you're gonna get used to the skirts (and hopefully, so will I).
I'm going to Taiwan on Friday to next Tuesday because my dad's going on a business trip there. This is the absolute first time I'm following my dad on a business trip. My mom is coming along, too.Oh! I gtg now. BYE!Labels: colorful fonts, jeans, taiwan, uniforms
