5 August 2007 - Sunday
OMG abt 2 or 3 hours ago, while the others were playing the computer, I started painting the background of this charity thing, and it was so pretty (at least, in my eyes), that I decided to make a painting on it, on art paper. So JH gave me a piece of art paper and I started copying the background, just on a larger piece of paper. But since it was on a larger piece of paper - a much larger one - I couldn't just draw those things. So I added more and more and more, and JW and JH started painting too. JW was like, "Why your drawing so nice," and JH was like, "Waaa so horrible" as USUAL. HE doesn't mean anything he says. He said that abt JW's painting too, but like I said, he doesn't mean it. And when the painting was finally done, Aunty Lori also said it was nice which + how my painting looked like + what my mum and JW said about it made me really happy, and when I looked at it, I felt a surge of pride. I mean not jiao ao, as in a happy sort of pride. But the painting... even as I was painting it, I wasn't sure what I wanted to paint. And when you look at it: Is it on land or underwater? Is that blue thing a bird or a wave? Actually, I can't answer those questions coz I don't know either... hehe =p... So it's sorta mysterious and... weird. But art is like thing. Some people just take buckets of paint and splash them all over the canvas, and then go sell them for $1000 and they get sold as quick as hot cakes. And this artist called I-dunno-what, draw people witch square faces and square eyes and mixed backgrounds, and he's really famous. So oh well.
Note to self: Buy frame.
And have you heard the news? Tash can't blog until after UPSR, which is like what, 30 days away? Yesterday I called and we were chatting and then she said that her mum said she might not be able to come to Singing class (SS) coz of UPSR!! Her mum also asked her to quit ballet. I dunno quit or stop for a while, but whatever. Tash's dad said to her mum that Tash had ample time - enough time to spare. But today they told my Mum that she couldn't come. Guess Aunty Sally (Tash's mum) won the 'debate' huh? So sad! And Tash has to study for 5 hours a day because of UPSR.
Thank goodness I don't have UPSR.
